GUNTOWN Two Lee County residents were arrested Monday on drug charges, the state Department of Public Safety said.

Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics agents arrested James A. Bishop, 36, at 127 Booth St. on charges of prescription forgery.

While serving the arrest warrant, agents found three cook sites as well as precursors inside a vehicle at the residence. Agent also recovered about 5 grams of meth.

Assisted by the Guntown Police Department and Lee County Sheriff's Department, agents also arrested Tina Bishop, 36, and seized seven weapons from the residence.
