General Atomics, a prized industrial investor in south Lee County, announced Monday morning with the fanfare of a gubernatorial visit that it will add 80 jobs and a $12 million investment at its campus in the Tupelo-Lee Industrial Park South.

They make money from government contracts. That makes them another group of people living off of taxes.
MS need new business that does not need government to survive.

But they WONT be government employees. If it weren't for government contract jobs, how would we get ships, airplanes and weaponry? Your argument is senseless, with all due respect.

You hire protection. The federal government does not need weapons. The state is all the protection you can afford or need. Read the Constitution. States control the National government not the other way around. Mississippi is on welfare because it is not responsible.
