What a Laugh! Keep Pontiac open it seems to me more money is being wasted than saved by shuffeling prisoners all over the state and look problems are already beginning in the prisons and the majority hasn't even been shipped yet! The governor has made a terrible mistake. What a laugh he is! Don't pretend to care now Rod! Those that work at Pontiac already know how you feel. After reading this article, I would have thought it was almost April Fool's Day and not Halloween! Rod has made a terrible mistake and is now trying to save face! The only way face can be saved with PCC employees is to leave the prison alone and keep it open!

If the Governor finally showing signs of remorse? I doubt it. If he really was worried about the economic impact of closing Pontiac Correctional Center on Central Illinois, he'd rethink his inane decision and keep it open. But, let's throw more money away. I'd like to see how much money is being spent on upgrading Thomson and Lawrence Correctional Centers to save $4 million by closing Pontiac Correctional Center not to mention all the lost revenues Illinois will face. I'm sure the State of Iowa will be laughing all the way to the bank.
