I stayed at the Tom Quick Inn few years ago with my 2 sisters and 2 girlfriends .we heard it was haunted so we decided to stay and see for ourselves.
The bartender gave us a tour of the creepy basement..But aside from that the stay was actually really pleasant. The room they gave us was huge and very cool, there was a feeling of alot of past there, but nothing haunted us that night. The Brunch the next day was also very cool ..I was sad to see the place close..But glad to hear they reopened..I will be making a trip there soon! |

4 star prices for a 1 star room. The Inn's bar and dinning were fine.

no- i really think we under paid for the room we stayed in - the entire top floor for 5 of us - a little over 100.00 a night - it was really nice

It was $10 for the apple fritter dessert but I have to say it was the best dessert I ever had.
They have apparently lowered their prices now to attract people that make less than $100,000. |

Yeah, I think the other two owners made the Indian bow out of the day to day operations.

Wasn,t Tom Quick the Indian killer of Pike Co...
Read up on the History of T.Q...On August 29, 1889, the newspaper headlines read, "In Honor of Tom Quick" Indian Killers Monument 'To be Re-erected in Milford, PA' |

I would have liked it if they had gone back to one of the original names...THE TERWILLIGER HOUSE...which has a certain charm. But, whatever the name I hope it stays open.
It would also be nice if the MILFORD THEATER was restored and opened up again,so people would have some where to go before or after they dine at the Tom Quick/Terwiller House. |

Cmon Larry, you were once a local. You know very well who Tom Quick was. Most people up here hate the legend because we all know the truth now. But it's no different than all the settlers the Indians massacred here! Too bad the monument wasn't put back where it belongs.
