I am occasionally found in religious spaces myself, but I can assure you they are not of the homophobic or misogynist sort.

These would be the closeted GLBTQ children of adult haters who have not found the courage to speak up and face their own truth, or that closeted music minister trapped in a heterosexual marriage, or that fire-and-brimstone-spouting congregant who runs home from church and solicits gay sex on Craig's List.
