Is Reform Judaism really considered Judaism? The Orthodox can't stand them either. And given the Reformed branch's liberal, twisted track record, I can't stand them either!
Guess what...Jews are as diverse as any other religion.

Ever heard of a Jesus believing Karaite? We don't go for all the made up Pharisee laws. Jesus said the Law and the Prophets are enough.

Why do you think he dogged the Pharisees?
Why not the Sadducees? Because they didn't believe in the man made rules either.

The Saducees stayed in Jeruslaem to defend the Temple when the Pharisees ran.
Thus, the Sadducees were killed and the Pharisees continue to this day.

Rabbis still follow the Pharisee ways...

Who, in your opinion, will be doing the persecution?

False.
Christianity has thrown Judaism out. Jesus taught we must observe the Torah, not the paganized pretend christian 'holydays'.
My DNA still says JEW...
I agree that it is logical for followers of Jesus to practice the same Jewish customs he practiced, however there is no mainstream Jewish group that accepts Messianics as true Jews. If you believe Jesus is the Christ, then you are by definition a Christian, no matter what your customs are or who your DNA derives from. You may call yourself Jewish, but no one else does.

Please allow me to clarify my initial post.

The only reason I said the person responsible for the letter bomb would 'probably' be jailed was that I would not presume to predict a court sentence before the trial.

If it were up to me alone, such violent folks would CERTAINLY go to jail.....for a very long time.

There are Catholic countries (Spain, Italy, etc), Protestant countries (England), Moslem countries (most of the Middle East), Hindu countries (India), Buddhist countries (China). And you piss and moan about a small strip of land for the Jews for 60 years. Jews had traditionally made themselves at home in their host countries and swore allegiance to those countries, but after Germany conducted the Holocaust, it was deemed necessary to create a homeland where the Jews would be in the majority of the population. Not every Jew has felt the need to leave their host country and they have remained where they are as loyal citizens. Israel is a refuge for those who have been driven out, or felt a need to be among others like themselves.

I just want the violence to stop. Israel is Jewish. It was built by Jews for Jews. Muslims came thousands of years later. I am for the state of Israel. Period. I do wish they would not harm Christians as Christians certainly mean them no physical harm....unlike muslims. I believe it was a muslim who sent the bomb because they are more likely to stoop to violence but in Israel everyone is hi strung from being threatened all the time by crazy muslim extremists. It might have been a jew but I truly doubt it.
