KOREAN AMERICAN-AND IF HALF OF AMERICA THINKS SOCIALISM OR COMMUNISM IS BETTER THEN AMERICAN DEMOCRACY THEY HAVE NOT HAD TO DEAL WITH THE REALITY -DO YOU THINK PEOPLE COME FROM COMMUNIST COUNTRIES LIKE CHINA AND UM RUSSIA OR NORTH KOREA BECAUSE THEY HATE DEMOCRACY? OR NEVERENDING OPPRESSED DICTATORSHIPS IN AFRICA SOMALIA ?
THE DAMAGE IS DONE BY THESE PREPROGRAMMED PEOPLES DOMINATING THE POPULATION AND IMPOSING THE SAME IDEOLOGIES THEY RAN FROM AS A SIGN OF STRENGTH AGAINST AMERICAN DEMOCRACY FOR THEIR OWN INDIVIDUAL GREED AND NEEDS -THIS IS WHY AMERICAN DEMOCRACY WORKS WHEN PEOPLE EITHER UNITE TOGETHER OR FALL

OTHERWISE YOU MIGHT AS WELL LET KIM JONG ?? TAKE IT OVER AND SHOW HOW OPPRESSED THEY MISS THEIR DICTATOR JUST AS THE MASSES WERE SHOWN WEEPING WHEN KIM JONG SR PASSED -NOW WHO WAS GONNA TELL THEM WHAT TO DO AND WHAT TO THINK

Its not socialism unless the rich pays 30-50% more than average.

Right now its just 10% more than average. and it will probably stay that way. stop being such a drama queen.

Listen, I don't want a blue collar based economy either. But its not there yet. But it will get better with investment from Asia.
Mexicans keep my big mac from costing 10 bucks, my chicken plate from costing triple.
What do u want me to do. Pay more for what? Hellz no. We don't need organized crime in the streets, and we don't need organized crime in Congress. What can we do about either one? Which one do u think is harder?
You are drinking the kool-ade, that is pure BS. Businesses don't pass very much of the savings unto the consumer, they stuff the procredes in their own pockets.

"A decade ago, two Iowa State University agricultural economists estimated that removing all illegal farmworkers would raise wages for seasonal farmworkers by 30 percent in the first couple of years, and 15 percent in the medium term.

But supermarket prices of summer-fall fruits and vegetables, they concluded, would rise by just 6 percent in the short run dropping to 3 percent over time, as imports took up some of the slack and some farmers mechanized their operations or shifted out of labor-intensive crops.(Winter-spring produce would be even less affected, they found, because so much already is imported.)

If illegal workers disappeared from the apple harvest and wages for the remaining legal workers rose by 40 percent in response and that entire wage increase were passed on to the consumer that still would add less than 3 cents to the retail price of a pound of apples."

So true... Most folks just make their own facts up in their mind and run with it. I don't know why folks have deluded themselves into thinking 12-20 million highly impoverished folks, whether they are illegal or not, is good for our country.

To the extent you save a few pennies per apple, you get bent over a barrel providing them medical care (they don't pay for any of their many babies who are born in our hospitals), providing their children with good stamps, providing their children with medicaid, and educating their many children (and providing them with free school breakfast and lunch).

If people ACTUALLY think folks at or near the poverty-line contribute more in taxes than they use in government services, they need only look to US citizens who are similarly situated to know this can't possibly be true.
Huh

"When the underemployed and the discouraged are added to the numbers, the unemployment rate rises to 16.6%. The Bureau of Labor Statistics, a unit of the Labor Department, began tracking this alternative measure known as the U-6 for its department classification in 1995 after economists lobbied for a method comparable to the way Japan, Canada and Western Europe count their unemployed."

Do YOU honestly think the numbers that tossed out there are legit?
