I can't wait to hear the DNA evidence. I will be interested to hear whether or not any of Martin's DNA was found on Zimmerman's holster. There is so much that hasn't been released or explained due to Florida's public disclosure laws. I know you strongly believe that Zimmerman is guilty of murder. I just don't know but am confident justice will prevail.
The DNA and so called witnesses will be interesting. And even more critically, the voice analysis.

IMO, the problem with the Florida law is it gives way too much leeway to the shooter. And if Zimmerman gets off, Florida will become the wild, wild west. Can you imagine a 13 y/o shooting another 13 y/o because they claim to have felt threatened?

Zimmerman is the example. And unless the state wants things to get out of control, I think they're going have to strike some sort of balance with people's rights and their ability to defend themselves.

At some point, people need to take responsibility for their actions and not hide behind the law.

<quoted text>Zimmerman supporters are of the opinion the engagement didn't occur until the first physical contact occurred. Their claim is since Zimmerman appears to have suffered the most damage, he must be the victim by assumption.
They also take the position that Zimmerman was always in the right to do anything he claims he did. What they don't do is give the same assumptive reasoning to Martin. If you listen to their arguments, it's almost as if they treat Zimmerman as some sort of law enforcement officer simply doing his duty. Or at the very least, someone who has something similar to police powers.
How this plays out in court is going to be interesting. Because as of right now, it would appear the law is designed to enforce the last man standing as the winner by default.
And I suspect this worries Florida officials.
Yeah, I certainly understand your point but I believe a person, any person, has the right to confront a suspicious person in their neighborhood....especially when the area has a history of recent break-ins. My husband has confronted people in our neighborhood more than once. He even caught a burglar once. After a search of his home, the "kid" was charged with 17 separate counts of burglary!! If that burglar had attacked my husband, I doubt anyone would claim my husband was the aggressor. The fact that Martin was innocent of any wrong doing doesn't give him the right to attack Zimmerman....IF (and that is a big IF)he did. I'm hoping court testimony will bring to light what happened in those last four minutes of Martin's life. I really am.

Otherwise, there would not have been WWII.

The world just doesn't work like that.
When you're being mercilessly bullied, you only have two choices. Continue getting the snot beat out of you or find a way to fight back and get the upper hand.

For one thing, after creating the worst recession in 80 years & loosing the White House to Obama, the Republicans shouldn't have met in December & decided their plan was if Obama was for it, they were against it. Their number one in Congress shouldn't make the ousting of Obama is his number one concern.

But hey, Carol, you keep blaming Democrats.

When GW Bush announced in 2008 that we were on the brink of a financial meltdown, which party supported Bush? I have a hint. It wasn't the Republicans.

The Democrats after 9-11 stood with Bush.

The Republicans during the worst recession 80 years, played politics.

You defend that.

Since we have been provided aide, shutting it off would indicate that we made the decision.
Davey boy, I'm so disappointed, you don't want to discuss economics? How about the democrat authored mortgage meltdown? IRS corruption instigated by Oblamer? Newmen being spied upon? The lack of jobs?$85 billion a month to WS fatcats?

Yeah, right. The current Congress is not referred to as the "uncompromising Congress" because they are known for the "wide bipartisan support" of anything associated with this administration. You are not kidding anyone.

Indeed, of the 157 events Shulman was cleared to attend, White House records only provide time of arrival information -- confirming that he actually went to them -- for 11 events over the 2009-2012 period, and time of departure information for only six appointments. According to the White House records, Shulman signed in twice in 2009, five times in 2010, twice in 2011, and twice in 2012. That does not mean that he did not go to other meetings, only that the White House records do not show he went to the 157 meetings he was granted Secret Service clearance to attend.

So you would believe the fake records that show 157 times and disbelieve the real records that show 11 times.
