This Peter Ventre the worst doctor I have ever seen, he threatened me with a forced injection in Fort Lauderdale Hospital after claiming my complaints of side effects from the high doses medication he recklessly prescribed were lies. He threatened me with a Haldol injection, Haldol and drugs like it are behavior control medications or "chemical restraints" or in my case a punishment for disagreeing with his medication suggestions in that wretched place Fort Lauderdale Hospital.

Get your medical records and read all the lies.

And what about the word "medications?" Does it ease your mind by conjuring up images of some benign cough syrup prescribed by a kindly family doctor? Nothing could be further from the truth. Psychiatric medications a very powerful drugs and if a patient is complaining of bad effects only a total sadistic barbarian like this doctor Ventre would make threats of violence (Rape by drugs) in response.

Also check out how much money this Ventre gets from the drug companies:

If he threatend you with injection (drug rape) in Fort Lauderdale Hospital know this:

By law in Florida (several other states have similar laws), a person, before receiving medication or other treatment, has the right to receive and must be given sufficient information about this treatment to enable him or her to “make a knowing and willful decision without any element of force, fraud, deceit, duress or other forms of constraint or coercion”.(Florida Statute 394.459(3)(a)

Nahh, But It makes sense that you think that.

I was having a rough time in my life and foolishly drank to much vodka and went to the local hospital ER cause I was sick (stomach pains) and dehydrated. I was transported by van to "Fort Lauderdale Hospital" . That is how I met "Dr" Peter Ventre of Fort Lauderdale .

I'm to old to drink like a college kid it seems. Anyway,

Behind the locked doors of this place I am labelled with some "psychiatric disease" bipolar or some crap like that using no testing known to medical science that showed I have any "disease" but I am ordered anyway to take 800mg of Seroquel (the highest dose stated per day in the PDR) PLUS the highest dose of some epilepsy drug mood stabilizer (zombifier) called Trileptal that has a long list of HORRIBLE side effects and withdrawal reactions like seizures if I was ever to stop taking it PLUS and the chemical restraint "Haldol", PLUS this stuff called Cogentin to control the involuntary muscle contraction side effects from the drug overdose he prescribed.

I saw other people shuffling around in a medicated daze, no thanks.

I told the nurse mabey a little something to sleep like 25mg Seroquel , I know what that is, but I'm here cause I got sick (stomach pains) from drinking like a fool. The next day when I met with this doctor he actually told me I would be injected by force with drugs if I was not "medication compliant" . For real he said that I would be basically drug raped if I didn't swallow what I know was enough medication to make me really sick , really zombified and knocked out and I believe due to my lack of tolerance to psych meds, could have been fatal.

I think his ego got hurt when I questioned his prescriptions.

I objected to these "medications" and asked for medical tests to show my "brain disease" but that's not on my medical records instead they just state my "speech is rapid" (a bogus symptom of psychiatric illness) and I was placed on "assault precautions" for my reaction (rapid speech wile telling him off) to the threats of violence (forced injection drug rape) from this so called doctor.

He also lied on my medical records and stated I was suicidal I guess to somehow justify his abuse and extend my stay to make money for this wretched hospital and to protect himself from a lawsuit. I was never ever suicidal.

This doctor is a criminal, he abuses patients with medication behind locked doors for profit. He did it to me and I saw what he was doing to others. This guy missed the lesson at med school "At first do no harm" , that's for sure.

Families please find your loved ones another doctor and call a lawyer if they complain of medication abuse by this Peter Ventre or staff abuse @ Fort Lauderdale Hospital.

P.S

When my lawyer called with my complaints of human rights violations and requests for my medical records I was out the next day and suddenly "sane", that's how this nightmare ended.

My grown son had been hospitalized at Imperial Point Medical Center and was treated by one of Dr. Ventre's associates and had an appt. to see that associate in the office after my son was discharged from the hospital. My son waited for over 3 hours and my son called me about this and I told him to re-schedule. As my son was about to leave, Dr. Ventre volunteered to see my son in lieu of the associate.
Dr. Ventre took literally 2 minutes to talk to my son, quickly wrote a prescription for the medication that was 6 times stronger than my son had been taking for years. Had my son filled that prescription, there is no telling what would have happened to him. Dr. Ventre did not have clue how to treat my son. To top it off, my son now gets a bill for the amount that the insurance did not pay, the bill is for nearly 200 dollars after the insurance. Dr. Ventre billed the insurance 300 dollars for the 2 minutes he saw my son (and nearly killed my son with an overdose).

I am not surprised, They killed a kid at Fort Lauderdale Hospital.

A Tamarac mother sued Fort Lauderdale Hospital and a psychiatrist who worked there, saying they overmedicated her teenage son with a cocktail of mental health drugs — some of which have not been approved for the treatment of children.

The boy, Emilio Villamar, died of a sudden heart attack. He was 16.

Emilio, a swimmer and water polo player, was diagnosed with bipolar disorder by Dr. Sohail Punjwani in March 2002. Within the next year, the teen was given 16 different psychiatric drugs, six of which were still being administered when he died, said Michael S. Freedland, who is representing Emilio’s mother, Norma L. Tringali.

FOUND AT HOSPITAL

Emilio was found slumped over in his room at Fort Lauderdale Hospital — where he was being treated against his will behind locked doors for his alleged mental illness — with blood dripping from his mouth or nose, Tringali said. He was taken by ambulance to Broward General Hospital, where he slipped into a coma.

The teen died March 29, 2003.

”Of course, I was in shock,” Tringali said.“Can you imagine: 16 years old? He was doing sports. He was a good swimmer. He played water polo. He was a very good student.

I was being coerced by Peter Ventre to take a huge amount of these drugs after drinking to much over stress and going to the E.R feeling sick. I got sent to Fort Lauderdale Hospital for this abuse called "treatment".

He almost got my dad killed. Him and his associate at Broward Imperial Psych. Intravenous injections of Haldol are not approved for Dementia and Parkinson's. He collects from drug companies too and threatens individuals and families. I busted him on his threat, which he is now "re-wording">
