Al Lamberti was a corrupt sheriff and placing slogans on police vehicles and promotional trinkets did not foster trust for the police. People know the remarks are hollow when it is revealed that Lamberti paid for his 2008 election with Ponzi scheme money from Rothstein, then fleeced taxpayers by extorting contributions from BSO vendors in exchange for fat contracts to pay for the 2012 election. Scott Israel is right to drop the facade and concentrate on adhearing to the principles of the motto not just pasting words on everything. Lamberti should be thinking about the meaning of the words in his slogan as he faces trial as the defendant in a lawsuit stemming from the mismanagement of a jail system and the violation of the prisoner's civil rights.
