As I said previously, this ISN'T the 19th century, and women DO have rights now. I'm very glad I was born in the 20th century, and NOT the 19th, when women had NO RIGHTS whatsoever, and were treated like PROPERTY by men. You're thought process is truly lacking if you honestly believe PCers are incapable of understanding a human embryo/fetus is "developing to the point of 'full independent life.'" A newborn definitely hasn't reached a "full independent life", but if all goes well, should, by the time they're 20-25 years old.

Unfortunately, what you fail to grasp is that, sometimes, not all goes well.

Naturally you missed the ultimate point which was men do not have a comparable situation where they will ever face having their autonomy/rights/freedom subjugated by a U.S. court for an unborn entity.
