How is that? I never rejected Judaism. Even Christ didn't reject Judaism.
Judaism does not recognize Christ as Messiah. Therefore, to be Christian from the Jewish faith's POV is a rejection of Judaism.

Like Islam. They recognize Jesus as a prophet, but not as the Son of God. So one could say Islam rejects Christianity.

There's a very real problem with this tho, performing an abortion doesn't take care of the root problem in the case of rape or incest. The root problem of the girl being victimized is never addressed.
I agree completely. There's not a good answer to this I dont think...

This is your attempt to prove that Judaism 'condones' abortion.

Please post something from an orhtodox Jewish site that condones a woman aborting her baby
I've done that many times Inkstain. But here it is again. I'm sure you'll cherry pick or ignore it at your leasure as you have the 2 dozen OTHER time's I've posted it. MANY sites that show when, by Jewish law, abortion is required.

This is an intersting article showing both sides of the debate WITHIN the Orthodoxy, but STILL agreeing that at times, its required.

Hey, Witless? You didn't ASK about elective abortion in the above. Judaism not only condones abortion is the case of the woman's life being in danger, but it requires it. It's not Foo's fault you worded it poorly.

But that doesn't make sense for anyone not born Jewish. How can you reject what you never were? Christ never rejected his religion.

That had nothing to do with my post where foo claims that she supports elective abortion as one of a womans choice which goes AGAINST her religion.
First off, where did I say EVER that I support random elective abortion Skanky?

Show us the specific post please.

Oh wait, you can't, since I never said that.

Second, it is NOT against my faith to support the right of women to make their OWN medical choices. Sorry, you lose on that one too you poor, pahtetic sack of crap.

You clearly don't understand the laws of God but then, you don't have to. If you are facilitating the beaking of the law, then you are just as guilty.
That may be what YOUR religion teaches, but it is not what every religion teaches, and it is not fact.

Or not born Muslim?

I've never been Muslim and won't convert because I'm Christian. Christianity "rejects" Islam because it does not recognize Christ as the Son of God.

What part of that are you not getting?

Works with US law too. You don't have to pull the trigger to be found guilty. Your involvement in the crime makes you just as culpable.

You didn't answer my question.

What's the point in arguing your beleifs with people who don't subscribe to them? They may have a different opinion of what your religion means, but at the end of the day, they don't really care one way or other. You argue with folks like it's mandatory they subscribe to the same beliefs you do.

I'm not confused at all Skanky. I say what I mean and mean what I say all the time.
Unlike YOU miss "I'd rather my child die than have a lifesaving abortion".
No,you don't say what you mean, mean what you say.

Here's but a few examples.

You said that you followed your religion regarding your views on abortion. You don't. Judaism forbids elective abortion yet you CHOOSE to support a woman making a choice to abort. You even escort women(Jewish women too)to abortion clinics to abort.

Do you understand what an accessory to something means? I bet you do ;). Is the man who drives the get away car as guilty as the man he dropped off and picked up after a bank robbery? Yes. He was an accessory to that crime. If a man is beating and abusing a small child,is he as guilty as the woman who stands there and does nothing? YES.

2. You claimed to be prochoice. You claim to want a woman to have total control over her body, her medical choices(abortion) and her decisions regarding them. YOU support restrictions which means she DOESN'T have control over her body, her medical choices and her decisions.

3. You claimed that a "zef" has no rights yet you think that after viability that "zef" suddenly deserves protection.

Oh,the list goes on,..but...YOU get the point, don't cha?

Don't you think that advocating for and assisting some to have an abortion which is forbidden by your religion except in dire circumstances, makes you guilty of breaking the laws of Judaism?
Of course it does. Foo doesn't care.
