I thought everything about charlestown was a disgrace. The smoke was overpowering, the machines were broken, there were moveable barstools instead of fixed seats, and a really raunchy male crowd that loitered and made their presence known. And then there were the machines...tighter than my worst day in Atlantic City. Nothing came out, and I'm not exaggerating. Plus in video poker you had to play ten credits to win the $1000 jackpot. That's too crazy. I'll never go back!
i do not do slots, only blackjack and craps, i have been to charlestown 13 times and won 10 times.

The machines suck suck suck. I play at Ceasars as a regular. As far as I can see unless you hit the machine during its RARE HOT MOMENT. You will lose everything you came with. If you get a hit. LEAVE. CEASARS MACHINES SUCK. THEY HAVE GOTTEN GREEDY AND EXTREMELY STINGY. IT IS NO FUN PLAYING A MACHINE THAT WILL ONLY TAKE YOUR MONEY.

THEY ABSOLUTELY HAVE TIGHTEN UP THEIR MACHINES. IT IS A 100% FACT. NO DOUBT ABOUT IT. IF THEY DENY THEY ARE LYING. JUST GO PLAY AND YOU WILL SEE HOW LONG IN BETWEEN THE BONUS ROUNDS BEFORE YOU GET A BONUS THAT WILL PAY SOMETIMES A FEW DOLLARS. IT IS RIDICULOUS. THAT IS WHY I HAVE REDUCED MY PLAYING AND AMOUNT PER PER DRAMATICALLY. MIGHT AS WELL FEED MY MONEY TO A VACCUM CLEANER GOING AND PLAYING IN CEASARS, BALLYS, OR HARRAHS.

Just returned from AC and there is no doubt the slots are extremely tight. I don't know if the gaming commission or the casinos set the payout level, but whoever it is has to be a complete idiot. I realize the economy is slack, but how stupid do you have to be to think.....lets tighten up the slot machines, that ought to bring in more customers.

Hate to tell everyone, but the slots are not "tight", they're rigged! They are ALL hotwired to a mainframe computer that are programmed render either winners, or, mostly, loosers! They are not random, they are fixed!

Only the slots at Revel are server based and maybe rigged. But the slots are not the only bandits to be afraid of. What about all the crime going on there? People turned up dead at Revel yesterday and there is a rash of robberies and attacks against both businesses and gamblers. Atlantic City is really living up to its reputation of having the highest crime rate of any gambling area in the country.

The fact of the matter is is that the slots are governed by computer software that dictates if you win, or not, is as simple as that!!! And the odds are rigged in who's favor? Your guessed it, the House, that's who. And you, leave with an empty wallet and tried to be left with the feeling that you had a good time!! Bullshit!!!
