GLCA board president Douglas Tessitor,(Glendora, California mayor) who is known for his wasting of tax payers money with meritless lawsuits has done it again!

The Metro Gold Line Foothill Extension Construction Authority agreed Thursday to pay property owner George Brokate of Excalibur Holdings $24 million for Brokate's 4.5 acres of commercial property.

"George was the rock of Gibraltar in this thing, He was unwavering, It wasn't about him getting money that was owed to him."

He wasn't going to cave in by threats from GLCA president or anyone else, he stuck to his convictions and got what he was owed for the land.

Speaking of problem spots have you seen the T.Phillips located in Glendora with many alcohol related GPD responses since they first opened has caused many to question the wisdom to which the Glendora City Council used to allow this problem watering hole to open up in the first place.

This so called watering hole has been the scene of may arrests for drunkness and public fighting on and off the property. Drunks from this business have stumbled across and up or down the street to only pass out and be arrested later with the help of the residents owner. Fighting between men and fights between women, this must be the City Councils night life they talking about that is good for the Village?

Passed out drunk on people lawns and scaring senior citizens, shame on the Business owners of T. Phillips and hte Glendora City Council* for allowning this to continue after the first of many alcohol related arrests and GPD written reports.

Senior citizens have even spoke in front of the Glendora City Council* and gave their account and accounts of the problems created with T. Phillips.

President Barack Obama on Wednesday. 02.22.2012 proposed a lower corporate tax rate and an end to dozens of loopholes.

That helps American companies move jobs and profits overseas.

It's not right and it needs to change, since so many Americans are out of work and money is flowwing and kept overseas and doesn't come back to America to help those who need it the most.

A bet is, the Republican/Tea Party Nation member's will stop or stall this effort by the President of United States of America, for their own selfish, petty reasons?

Glendora, California has another road to take.

A years-long political duel over whether California should control local government bankruptcies was resolved on October 9, 2011.

Chapter 9 of the Bankruptcy Code provides specifically for the reorganization of cities and towns, taxing districts, municipal utilities, and school districts. California Governor Jerry Brown

(D) signed legislation prohibiting local municipalities from filing for bankruptcy unless they first negotiate with creditors using a “neutral evaluation process” or vote to declare a fiscal emergency after a public hearing. Prior versions of the legislation would have required permission from a state agency before bankruptcy could be declared.

Development pressures that have been brought to bear upon Glendora, California by SCAG and various other developer-front organizations and hirelings.

The result being vast stretches of undesirable mixed use projects, the kind that suffered so horribly during the Crash of 2008.

Many of which still sit only partially occupied or vast streaches of vacant land throughout California.

Some call them "FatCats" others refer to them as just "Rats" either way they have become a drag on Glendora, California.

Like so many other cities located in Southern California, the "FatCats" have and sre being exposed for their ethical, moral misdeeds while in office, hired city hall staff also are wrapped up in these schemes to defraud their residents of any information as to their activities under cover of working for there own personel gains and benifits.

How much will taxpayers pay for the San Diego trip by Glendora, California council members?

Do they really need to go?

What is accomplished?

That's where the city could save money and be green, by turning the green money back to city hall and it's tax payers base.

It appears once again, the evil has been exposed in the 'little' crusty cold hearts of the politicans of Glendora, California.

At first they said we don't have anythig to do with 'any lawsuit' against Mrs. Sharon Green?

Now they are behind a lawsuit 100% ad using tax payers money to do so!

Glendora, California city staff has lied to us before, dabbled in the gray areas of the law and spun complete fabrications on the intent of their actions.

It's no surprise at any meeting that involves city staff meeting was completely a waste of time, ill planned and extremely mismanaged.

Glendora's fat cat politicans can waste money on worthless "pet" project for their political friends but they can't handle a dangerous area of Glendora, California.

This is just down the street from 1000 S. Glendora Ave, Heritage Oaks apartments for seniors 55 years and older.

A few months back a power pole was hit. The article was in the Glendora Patch and San Gabriel Valley Examiner.

Over 500 people signed my petition to ask the Glendora City Council to do something.

The accidents due to speeding drivers could be slowed down to 25 mph by a Senior Facility sign with a 25 mph sign and then the speed light signs would blink 25 mph!

Maybe they would still speed but the light signs would slow down the speeding cars to maybe 40 mph instead of 60 mph!

I took pictures and will post them when I have time. Baseline has a 25 mph sign at a school and 35 mph sign at baseline and Glendora!

If they can have a slower speed limit on Baseline why can't they have a slower speed limit on Glendora Ave between Baseline and Ronwood St.?

The world's oldest profession (republican politicans) took a hit during the recession.

But not to fear they are still screwing the honest residents of Glendora, California.
