She stole $55,000 but only has to pay $20,000 in restitution? Judge, why not the whole amount? She paid $10,000 leaving $45,000, so if she pays $300 a month (and pays interest at 2.5% a year) she can pay them back the full amount in 15 years. But it would be FULL restitution, not a mere 36%. Her 120 days of CS will be lame and works out to about $300 per day or about $36.00 an hour for the amount she does not have to pay back. People worked hard for that money to have their daughters play softball, and full justice is not out of reach here.

How about doubling the restitution of the stolen money? If not, then this is the best way to make a living, right? I have a better idea. Lets start wars in two other countries with tax payers money and then award oil contracts to EXXON so they can reap the benefits of the deaths of our soldiers. what say you?

I dont have a daughter that played for La Verne. But she did play softball for 9 years so i know how hard it is to raise money. The girls work hard on all there fund raisers. For someone to steal from them is bullsh&^*^%.LOPEZ should get 30 years years not 30 days.Good luck girls in the future and remember not all adults are thieves.

Daily Horoscope for December 23

Capricorn

Get out your list of things to do, because you're in a very industrious and efficient mood. Start with whatever is most urgent and then carry on from there. If you seem to be doing all the work while loved ones laze around watching TV, you'll soon chivvy them along and get them to lend a hand. After all, you don't want to feel like Cinderella!
