NickConway has a track record of threating to sue public officials, threatening to sue newspapers, and has hired a public relations firm. Conway took a leash law violation of his dog to the Court of Appeals already. Pasadena, California..
The frightening aspect of this is that he has a cadre of elected officials who are his enablers. They are the ones behind him and that is the story that will hopefully float to the top of the toilet bowl.

Glendora, California has crooked officials too!
Typically a claim letter, such as the one submitted by Nick Conway, is the first step in filing a lawsuit.
Should the insurance company deny his claim, which I have no doubt they will, then I believe he is free to file suit against the SGVCOG.

Since SCAG, SGVCOG and other wackO, secret Org's in California can't ride a bike and chew gum, it's about time for the big boys o handle it.

Ah, Michael Antonovich....
Nick Conway's biggest supporter is MICHAEL CANO, who is Antonovich's Transportation Deputy.
There is no one more married in supporting Nick Conway in the entire sgvCOG organization.
I understand that he worked for Nick Conway and now sends things Nick Conway's direction
Nick Conway is famous for his pre-written motions that are conveniently pre-approved by COG members after a lot of backroom arm twisting.
Here is the pitch line: I know you want the Gold Line, and this is something the Supervisor is really in support of! That supervisor is Micheal Antovich of Los Angeles County, California.
M. Cano does the leg work while Michael Antonovich fills out his Christmas Cards at public meetings.
Whenever he loses track of (memory fade) himself, M. Cano goes up and whispers in his ear. Great help to Nick Conway and the Supervisor, that Michael Cano.

Another interesting legal note:
The California Public Utilities Commission has now commenced an inquiry into the SGVCOG Grants under which the Executive Director, Nick Conway was arrested.
Grants received under conflicts of interest are by California and federal law, invalid. The torpedoes are making wakes toward the good ship sgvCOG.
Do you think maybe the PUC will put their decision off until October 9, 2012.
Nick Conways loyal supporters Barbara and Dave must be choking on their buffet sandwiches.
Lets not forget Douglas Tessitor and Gene Murabito of Glendora, California city council and their involvement. These two are as crooked as they come look at all the legal problemsin Glendora, California too.

The SGVCOG is a wonderful example of how politicians seem to think the end justifies the means.
They ll know, and knew, of all the problems, just didn't care as long as they got whatever pet project they were interested in.
Like piggies at a feeding trough.
The SGVCOG stands as an illustration of what is wrong with our local governance nobody on the organization did anything and those that spoke out were blackballed just shameful!

The Baldwin Park City Council on Wednesday September 05, 2012 is slated to evaluate its membership with the San Gabriel Valley Council of Governments.
The cities of Walnut and La Verne are already backing out from SGVCOG because of Nick COnway's mess he got himself into and SGVCOG.
Two other cities have contemplated their membership after the SGVCOG executive director Nick Conway, 60, was charged with four felony counts.
Nick Conway is back due in court September 27, 2012 to set a preliminary hearing.
The insurance company covering SGVCOG has refused to pay for Nick Conway's legal fee's, that was announced August 22, 2012.

The events now occuring at the sgvCOG, California are a good example of what can happen when Glendora City representatives do not take their duties seriously.
The corruption of the Nick Conway regime at the sgvCOG is a direct result of Glendora City Councilmembers not performing the oversight duties their liaison responsibilities demand.

Good news and Bad news for sgvCOG, now it appears Glendora city manager Chris Jeffers has gotten into the fray in trying to save sgvCOG from it's self. Alhambra City mayor Barbara Messina has created just too many enemys.
From those who attend a sgvCOG's latest meeting pretty much felt that A.C.E. would win out and be able to seperate from sgvCOG, what's bothering the sgvCOG member's right now is who is going to pay for Nick Conways legal defense fund?
Glendora's last city council meeting September 25, 2012 has a special "closed Session" meeting item, Impending lawsuit.
This could be the one Nick Conway will be filling against each and every city in the sgvCOG to force them to pay for his sinful defense.

Come one, come all tot eh sgvCOG meeting held on October 18, 2012.
So Cal Edison CTAC
6090 N. Irwindale Avenue, Irwindale, Ca.
This building is located in a cluster of Edison building deep inside the East side of the street.
A lot of butt covering agenda issues, you would think these people never handled state of federal contracts and money?
How stupid do you think they are trying to act?
It could be said never send a child to do an adults job.

You really have wonder about the ethics of those who turned a blind eye to Nick Conway's crimes.
Or the sgvCOG's apparent acceptance of that, as long as the money kept flowing who is going to blow the whistle.
Member's from Glendora, California sure must have been deaf, dumb and blind to miss all the warning signs.
But since someone else was doing it and it wasn't happening (illegal meetings) in Glendora then it was OK.
Since the sgvCOG meetings were held in secrecy and no meeting minutes were kept nor agenda's provided.
This was ripe for Criminal activites by all the member's and Nick Conway.

October 18, 2012 meeting of sgvCOG member's.
So I have a question for everyone; why is a member of the public having to take the time, energy and expense of having the SGVCOG meetings video recorded?
Why is the COG not video taping every meeting they conduct?
I am hard pressed to think of a local agency which does not video their meetings.
No doubt they will claim they don't have the financial resources, yet they can pay for endless buffets?

sgvCOG is a time and place that has used up all it's reasons to stay connected to ACE.
#55 Jan 17, 2013
The various SGV city council members currently serving at the sgvCOG could vote against Messina's handpicked minion.
Of course, a lot of them would need to man up, and I am not sure many have the ability to do that.
Since they are on the take anyhow.
