Mark Smith, Its Mayor Louie Lujan (not Luis Lejan). Back in 2010 in early Feb. he pled not guilty to perjury, then Dave dropped a folder in front of him on what else he could be charged with... at the end of Feb. he pled guilty. I do NOT think he was a member of COG, but he is gone "forever" from politics, he can't even get appointed to anything. As for Tran, he killed himself with what he did. Interesting list... something to think about when you vote.

More fall out from the Nick Conway arrest, SGVCOG has pulled out all the stops to "appear" to try and clean it's act up.

But many insides report they are putting on an act, by inlisting clowns like "George Ogden" a so called "yellow rag" hack type 'bad pens' to write artcles to cover up for them.

Get out now!

I don't think the City of Glendora, California can afford to take the kinds of severe financial risks continued membership in the SGVCOG could bring.

The conflict of interest situation that led to Nick Conway's arrest still exists, and corruption there is so endemic to the place that the current leadership sees no reason to end these practices.

They apparently see nothing wrong with the way business continues to be done despite Executive Director Nick Conway's arrest on corruption charges for just those kinds of things.

All from Glendora, California - Douglas Tessitor, Ken Herman and Gene Murabito are those who sat at the SGVCOG meetings and let Nick Conway get away with the acts e was chaged with and finally arrested for, were these three people involved to deep with Nick Conway too?

Being in the GVCOG is just one more SCAM pulled on the tax payers of SGV.!

We should sue all the city councils that allow this criminal organization (RICO) to stay in business.

They are in the business of stealing our money!

Karen Davis! Gene Murabito! Judy Nelson ,Joseph Santoro! Douglas Tessitor! or get off the city council yourselves.

GET GLENDORA, CALIFORNIA OUT OF THIS SGVCOG ..NOW!!

Probably SGVCOG members scared of losing their buffets.

Same people who will vote to pay for Nick Conway's legal expenses with our tax money.

Just had a vision of SGVCOG members Barbara Messina, Dave Spence, Mary Ann Lutz and Angel Carrillo huddled around a computer (probably at city hall) placing their votes.

Carrillo wanted to know if he could vote in his wife's name, Messina wanted to know if she could have her secret campaign committee vote for her, Lutz wanted to know if the COG would pay her to vote and Spence didn't care what the law says, he was going to vote as many times as he wanted.

Don't forget the two weasels from Glendora California, Douglas Te4ssitor and Gene Murabito.

Nick T. Conway, Tobia, Buchanan, Doyle, Mosca, and every other leech supporting the SGVCOG money making scheme should all be prosecuted by the Los Angeles Distict Attorney's Office.

This all runs up the latter to M. Antonovich. Therefore nothing will happen until all parties are finally implicated.

As for M. Antonovich and the other Couty Superviors and Water Baoards Federal investigations ahould be started with Federal Agents raiding their houses and offices.

String'm all up by their heels.

SGVCOG is a bunch of hooey.

Maybe it didn't start out that way, but it sure has evolved into it. LIKE A BUNCH OF CROOKS.

Maybe it has even incidentally done some good, but I doubt it.

I work for a living. I pay my own bills, and can't believe these people don't have the ability to feed their own selves.

The Nick Conway of SGVCOG try at public relations campaign is similar to what many corrupt leaders do once caught.

Reminds me of the SEIU leader, Freeman I think is his name, spent thousands attempting to get good press.

Freeman was indicted today August 1, 2012 on 15 felony charges by the U.S.Attorney's office, his wife pleaded guilty a few months back.

Should be interesting to see if the Feds get involved in the Nick Conway case, much of the monies involved came from Federal sources which would give them jurisdiction.

Well darn Nick Conway has4 felony charges so far, wonder how many more can be added before his next court appearance?

Another one bites the dust.

But the remaining sgvCOG members are cowards, breach of contract is breach of contract.

But they allowed him to do it, and voted for most of his plans.

"For a seat at the table", isn't that the selling point repeated by the coggies that set the sgvCOG in motion?

Get your seat at the table, who owns the table now?

A banquet of crumbs.

A rush to a partial settlement seems odd.

If Nick Conway and his companies were illegally benefiting financially, why didn't the sgvCOG turn off the spigot AND sue him and his companies for any illegal gains?

Sure he would likely sue sgvCOG in return, but the the pressure of paying his enormous dual track criminal and civil defense fees and the uncertainty of ever recovering those fees would have created quite a bit of leverage for sgvCOG in any settlement negotiations.

It's just a shame how grown men and women would follow a crooked man like Nick Conway of the SGVCOG, who are these follower's or "rubber stampers" why there your elected officials from the many cities involvd with COG - Council of Government.

If you haven't been to a sgvCOG meeting, it's eerie. A room filled with middle aged men and women who sit quietly throughout the entire evening and listen to Barbara Messina and Angel Carillon talk "at" them. The backroom deals have already been made and rings kissed etc. all that's left it to tell the actors what going to happen and who get's the money.

These are elected officials, yet none of them dare to express an opinion or even speak. One of the strangest things I have ever witnessed. Like something out of a movie about the Soviet Union.

Barbara Messina (Alhambra) was co principal with Angel Carillo (Azusa), in throwing out sgvCOG President Tom King from Walnut and past president Carol Herrera of Diamond Bar off of the executive board of the sgvCOG.

Their crime?

They criticised the conflicts of interest charges by CALTRANS about Nick Conway.

Carillo, who succeeded King as sgvCOG president was pandering his business with Arroyo Seco Associates on the very night he was elected sgvCOG president.

Of course his business has contracts with nine sgvCOG cities.

The DA investigation into the sgvCOG will hopefully snare Messina and Carillo along with other Conway operatives in the sgvCOG.
