Blue and Gray restaurant in Pomeroy. I ate my first shrimp there with my BFF. We thought we were very sophisticated!
Friend wasn't too impressed with them until I explained to her that you weren't supposed to eat the tails!

The bowling alley was a lot of fun, back in the day.
In the 50's there was "The Hole in the Wall" underneath the bowling alley. Best hot dogs EVER!!

I also have some very fond memories of those days. I do not, however, remember it being ok for a 40 yr. old to sleep with a child. What I miss most is, society was much more friendly toward each other. Even after hard fought elections. people would put aside their political differences and work together to further the best interests of our country. Neither political party has all the answers, there are good and bad about both. I'm not saying those who are defeated should give up their idealogy. What I am saying is if they cannot get together and work out some compromise on the issues hurting this country, all we will see is 4 more years of bitter division in our country. Most of the citizens in the U.S. believe they are being pushed aside for the special interests, that drive our political system. Back to memories, I miss the peaceful harmony that used to exist inour communities. I miss the peace of mind, from not having to worry about all the stealing and drug use that exists today. We still live in the greatest country on earth, we just need everyone to be a little more tolerant with one another and work together to resolve the difficult issues that we face today.

The good old days...
Back when you left the doors unlocked. I think we started locking our doors in the late 80's.

I hope it's just a little pot smoking.
Meth is death. Why would anyone use a substance that makes sores on your face and rots your teeth! Why??
