thank you i will check it out, my son told me today that pollockabout the highest you can get and that there are some unjustly there, its the system, he says the only thing to do is to stay out of trouble and work his way back to med, which he is trying to do, but also he says that hopefully he wont be killed, or get a murder wrap for trying to protect hisself.... it is the way it is, he says that there are so many sons in there that dont belong there, for just drug rimes little drug crimes, not mafia, or drug cartells, just simple guys that got hooked, and met the federal law system, and he says, hes doing everything in his power to get out of there nut has 12 months till up for it, in the mean time if someone trys anything against him, and he trys to protect his self which he willmdo, he gets more points, crazy, if its not his fault. see thats messed up. then hes back to square one. hes not a trouble maker its the ones that arent going to see daylight, and have nothing to lose that work on the little guys. agin he says mom please dont worry.

Hi Candy,
I know they always say,"don't worry", but that is not easy to do.My son is not a trouble maker, but he would defend himself, but he never tells me anything. He does not want me to worry.I just sent him a World Almanac , as he said he would like to have one. It was a soft book, and I had to order it online, and have them send it.
I don't write regular letters to him as I have arthritis and am disabled and am sure glad they got the email.Idon't tell him I am disabled. He has spent nearly 10 years of a fifteen year sentence for mostly drugs, as he was into them for himself for quite a few years. He also done a couple of eludes when he had drugs, even pot.But when the cops here really wanted to get him, they just planted a weapon where he had stayed a couple of nights. After it was all over, the cops admitted it.I have all his records from his attorney and even a letter from the gun owner, that they had this informant girl plant. They gave her a break for doing this , and she has a worse record than he had. I have her record from the attorney also.He would have been out now, but he got the extra five years for the gun.Yes, there are crooked cops and attorney's.
I am 72 and I doubt if I will ever live to see him again.I am disabled from nerve damage from botched surferies. Am in chronic pain 24/7/ since the surgeries and the docs can find nothing for my pain.I don't tell my son this.
Rick was in the Big prison in Pollock, USP, but they have now moved him to FCI, which he says is so much better. When they have lockdown, in the prison, it does not effect them where he is now.
I like that site I told you about, as my son does not like to tell me about prison, so I can find out anything from this former inmate of Pollock.
Nice talking to you. Maybe GOTTE, forgot to login with his insults!!!

yes, i am so glad, life is too short to have to read his CRAP!!!!! I am sorry about your pain, and condition. I am 55, going on 56 this may, and my son still has 11 years, out of the 20. so i will be up there too, and think the same thing, I havent seen him now for 3 years since when they get into trouble, they take extreme amount of time away for visits, insane. I know my son doesnt tell me everything, too, as to not worry me, or incase the phone is being monitored. sometimes i forget and he will say mom, and then i know to stop talking.... my son had no wepond ever in all his troubles, just drugs, caught with the chemicals to make meth, lots of it, and with prior drug offences, got him in... but it is really unheard of to where he is now, I will never understand it, never. I too, am so glad that there is e-mail. I send him 20$ a week to survive on, then summer money for new clothes, christmas, and birthdays, and $ for winter clothes, he says money will keep you safe, as to not get into trouble by borrowing and not being able to pay back, so 20$ is good, he manangies it pretty good. His phone calls in fl, use to be 5$ a call, now out of state there 10$ so oops there goes my phone bill, I let him call every eekend 1 time. if he gets extra $ he pre-pays a call to me I like that, its a savings, hehe.well, I went to that site but need to check it out more I dont see anything recently. i might be in the wrong place on it. my son has a eight year oldson, which I have joint custody of. with the mothers aunt, we went to court for 5 years. shes in alab. it all worked out and he gets to talk to his daddy, and knows him, he was 2 when he went in. I use to take him to see him, but decided it was best to not anymore till he gets older. I go get him once a month, when not working and bring him to fl, then summers, christmas breaks, etc. such a joy. well gonna go, God Bless You, Candy

There is nobody in federal jail for "little drug crimes". If you've been sentenced to longer than 3 years in federal prison for your involvement in drugs it's most likely that you were a substantial dealer, manufacturer or transporter of narcotics. NOBODY is in a local county jail, much less a federal prison (ESPECIALY a place like Pollock), for merely smoking or in any other way "doing" drugs.
The two things that clearly stick out about the people I met while in jail is that they all (i) said they were innocent and (ii) had numerous prior convictions and/or incarcerations. Also, I remember nearly all of them being floored when I told them I was absolutely guilty of the crimes for which I was in for. Again, personal responsibility was definitely in short supply in jail

JOHN,
I never said my son was not guilty. He was guilty of having drugs, for his own use many times until the police got tired of it.He was NOT guilty of the weapon charge that got him in Pollock, where I don't think he belongs. The same week he was sentenced, they sentenced a guy that molested a little girl and murdered her, to 5 years. He is out now,,,,and you think that is fair,,,NO WAY!!!

I am currently a Correctional officer with the Bureau of Prisons in Pollock, La. Having to deal with these inmates everyday, I can tell you that there has never been an inmate here, that got stabbed or murdered, that didn't do something to put himself in that position. There are many inmates here, that do their time quietly, and stay out of the way. If an inmate gets assaulted, stabbed, or murdered, it because of his own activity. He was either in the debt of another inmate, involved in gang activity, or just causing problems to other inmates. I do believe some of these inmates are trying to better themselves, and unfortunely some may even be innocent of the crime they were convicted of(maybe 1 or 2 out of 1600). But most of the inmates here, are repeat offenders, and will never be more than criminals, no matter how many times you, me, society, or even God forgives them.
Well I hate to onform you OFFICER, but that is your JOB, to serve and PROTECT and if you and your fellow officers were doing your damn jobs, you would be up on any activity of violence and could stop it before someone was killed or injured! he toruble is when you OFFICERS become so slack and neglect your duty that shit happens! Oh and some of you are part of the problema s you bring in the drugs and alcohol and other contraband to inmates so that you can make a quick buck and someone ends up high or drunk and other inmates get hurt!
You are not holier than thou and you aren't any better than the inmates you try and control, you just haven't got caught yet! Dont' come on here and tr to degrade these people's children because they are seving their time! There are alway two sides to a story and opinions are like assholes, everbody has one! Including you! Now if you want to share about your prison in a positive way, then come on with it, but leave you holier than thou attitude out of these conversations!
There are also a whole lot of RACIST officers working in these places and if your skin color ain't the same as theirs, they try and dog a man out, well all I can sya is you will get the right one someday and you will get dogged!

You think you are a real smart ass don't you? There are a lot of men and women locked up for PETTY crimes, in case you haven't noticed, the prisons are pack to the hilt with "petty crimes" Not every inmate is there for murder, rape and/or arson or child molestion! My son is there for being a felon in possession of a weapon, hell we are in the country where hunting is a way of life and survival at times!
Oh and one more thing freak, you wouldn't make a pimple on John Gotti's dead corpse's ass!

Yes,my son had , like at least 15 years of drug history, and a few eludes , with pot in the car. He also did try, with another guy, a jail break, with his girl friend waiting below.
He done time for all of that.Of course this made him a felon.
But,,,when the Law Enforcement have an informant plant a gun where someone is , to get rid of them, that is where I draw the line. And I, knowing some of the Police, was told how they laughed when they "Got Rid" of Biswell. It is even in his paper report that I got from his last attorney. My son never owned a gun.he got 15 years and he should have only got whatever the drug charges would have been.
I also have a letter from the owner of the said weapon, and the attorney had this letter and knew Rick did not own the gun, nor know it was where he spent the night. He is doing OK now that they have moved him to FCI, and he works for something called UNICOR. I write him every day e mail.I am sure glad they started this service.
