You are partly right about that. He is a poor admistrator and more than one or two don't care for him. Having a CNA like "Morgan" is a great example of part of the problems. Some employees (like Morgan) have the attitude that they are doing those old folks a BIG favor to "care" for them. Employees like this are the ones that an effective administrator would quickly weed out.

In all fairness, there are many others there that truly care. They treat the elderly with dignity and respect.

I regularly visit one of our church members who is not living her last days there. I have never seen any problem there. The facility is sparking clean. The residents are given excellent care and are tended to quickly and efficently. The food is very good and is served promptly by caring workers who see to it that the residents eat a healthy diet. They even monitor what and how much each resident eats. There are fun filled activites and group sessions. Volunteers help with many things there including crafts, entertainment and church services. The nurses, helpers and CNA's are all very nice people who will go out of their way to make sure every resident enjoys their stay. They are trained to be gentle because some of the residents are fragile and they do a fine job. I do not know Johnothon Thomas so cannot say if he is a good or bad worker. The employees there seem to think he is a nice man to work for.

Maybe thats the payoff for being such an @$$ kisser,'cause its surely NOT because of your humility and great attitude.

OK, I will admit to kissing my way up the CNA ladder. But it been soooooo worth it! I get a special parking space not too far away for a few days, a Bojangles biscuit and sometimes I get mentioned in the quarterly news letter. I'm such a great CNA that even the RN's are jealous of me. They wish they could be as admired as I am.

MNS I'm sure you volunteer ALL THE TIME....or do you even go see your family member unless it's a holiday??????? Get a life. You don't even have a clue!!!!! You're a JT @$$ kisser just like his employees!! Are you trying to get mommy a private room? They promised my loved one a private room from day one....never saw it..but we sure had a roommate who knew how to scream, curse, and fall out of bed at all hours of the day and night. My loved one lived in fear, not just of some of the caregivers, but the roommate was always doing something. I'm just glad we never have to step foot in that building again. Love it as you may, one day you'll wake up to the reality of what kind of place it really is.

Only a damn FOOL could be a dem0 these days.

Just like in EVERY CASE , when
Republicans pick up power, the economy does better. When dim-0s pick up power,
the economy falters.

It happened when carter gained the WH, the economy got WORSE.

It happened when Reagan gained the WH, the economy got BETTER.

It happened when clinton gained the WH, economic growth dropped from over 4%,
to about 2% 2 years later.

It happened in jan '95, when Republicans took over congress, the economy caught
fire and sported some of the best times in our history, including balanced
budgets and even a PROJECTED surplus.

It happened in jan '00 when W. gained the WH. He inherited a recession, a crashing market and 9-11 with terrorists in our country planning and training. He turned that into the longest running jobs expansion in our history with an average 5.2% unemployment number.

It happened AGAIN in jan '07, when dim-0 gained control of congress promising
"CHANGE" from the 4.4% unemployment, mid 4% economic growth, and the
longest running jobs expansion in the history of the nation.
"CHANGED" to depression.

Dear Cassie and laraxlou,

AC is a business, it takes money to run a business, a business that isn't concerned about money fails. CNAs have a very hard job and are usually underpaid for what they have to do. But the truth is you were not hired based on your business knowledge so grab the bed pan, change the sheets, and know your role......
