Piss off District 1 your book smarts don't flow on the Waianae coast. At least Balls has been to the Jack in the Box. Many of you and that includes some of you with relatives there avoid the Leeward coast like the plague.

I have "book smarts."
You are ever so complimentary. Now you reflect well on your LGBT brethren and sisters.
Good on you.

The moment I landed in Hawaii, no one treated me badly. All I ever did was think that Hawaii people have their lives, and I had to fit with them, not the other way around.
I totally see how we haoles pizz them off because we act like we know better.

You may become local to many of your neighbors but when time gets tough you are the first one they turn on. Cause they can.

This is such a pathetic article that I can't even take it. You feel guilt for telling some disrespectful little turd not to trash his own island?? This is the exact role the locals want you to play! Oh don't dare step out of line haole on OUR island! This would be easier to swallow if it wasn't coming from some juiced up dickhead wearing an Affliction shirt he bought at the KMart. Hate mainlanders? Go move to an "independent" Pacific Island and you can work in a sweatshop and live in a hut. If islanders were treated they way they treat outsiders when they visited the mainland they would whine and cry discrimination, yet they feel entitled to violate others basic human rights? I'm not buying it. Only weak minded apologists like the author of this article are. Oh I feel so bad for daring to tell some little monster not to LITTER!! He has the right to trash nature because you're white and he is brown?? I agree it is lame for anyone to move anywhere and pretend to be some local but come on you have a right to enjoy sour pork or whatever. Just be normal and respectful but you are not under the thumb of the locals. They co-opt our culture too. But that's ok I guess they are immune from scrutiny and are always right about everything. Give me a break
