I was the first one to stop at the scene, and I pulled Goldsmith out of his car. In my opinion the police were not very much help at all. After I pulled Jeffrey out of his car... when the police came to the scene they didnt come over to help or anything. The only help I recived was when the firefighters arrived. I was also interested in any news on the condition of the two survivors. If anyone can post it.

He is doing pretty well. He will be in the hospital for several weeks, and will have extensive work done on his ankles.

I am the aunt of Jeremy Goss, one of the deceased in the Mustang. I would be interested in knowing what you saw at the scene. His mother and grandmother were so devastated about the accident where both Jeremy and Andrea were pronounced dead at the scene, that they had no details. The child Landon, in the backseat, I understand was ejected from the car. He is still in critical condition at Children's Hospital in Dallas with 2 broken legs and a head injury. Very sad situation.

For all those with a simple need to know, I am not sure of Mr Goldsmiths condition but last I heard he was in ICU at ETMC. As for Mr. Goss, His services were held in Quitman, Tx on Saturday the 10th at 3:00pm. Miss. Burk (ANDREA)was cremated and her memorial service was in Point , Tx at 11:00 am on Saturday the 10th. The family and all friends had a beautiful service and is doing as well as can be expected. Andrea was a wonderful mother and friend and I will miss her forever. Thank you to all who helped and do not feel that your efforts did not help. The child Langdon had surgery for two broke legs and hip, head trauma, and had to recieve blood for a severe cut to his spline I believe and is now doing very well at last check on saturday. He is tough like his mom and will pull through just fine with everyones prayers. Thanks again to all who helped.

Hi James. This has nothing to do with the accident - more to do with your name. Who are your mother and father? Being married to a Simonek, I know that is not a common name. I'm trying to place you in our family tree. Please email at [email protected]
