Ok you say God is fake? How do you freaking think you got on earth in the first place? Did you just magically appear? I mean really? Maybe you did cause it seems like your head is fake!!

your so called god has nothing to back him up to prove himself to be real but yet there is plenty of proof to back up science.

God is REAL! I dont care if you say he is or not. How did you get here? Huh? Did a magical creature put you here? No it was the good lord up above that died so you could live! Now appreciate him!

Im not bashing your alls beliefs other than he is a fake character which somehow has managed to have countless followers. As for the devil is isnt real either. My point is no real documentation has never been recorded other than the bible. How can your god let the stuff go on in this world? I have my reason not to believe in a fake character just like you have your reason to believe in "him".

"How did you get here? Didn't a magical creature put you here?"

Uhm, yes...according to YOU "God" the Elusive, magical, never seen, no real record of being "put you here." Right?

I'm sure you believe the "Virgin Mary" was actually a virgin and impregnated by your mysterious god in the sky too.

By the way "God" didn't die for anyone, "Jesus" did, and even that is questionable. Such a sad life to live by the words of a fairy tale book.

Lame.

Since I always like to chime in on these posts, please consider my two cents to help direct the discussion.

I think that most of the "there is no god" talk is a bit silly, because we truly cannot ever establish whether there is or is not a god.

The conversation should be about what that 'god' is, and more than likely it's some weird thing that we do not understand. It would be like explaining iPhones to ants.

God most likely wasn't a thing that is like us, crafted us in his image, watches all we do, cares about what we do with our sex lives or free time or what day a week we set aside for him.

These are beliefs passed down word of mouth for thousands of years that were amalgamations of other faiths made by people who didn't understand their bodies, didn't understand rain, didn't understand stars or wind or the evolution of social behaviors we have developed from our primate ancestors.

These are strange old beliefs that have held on and stuck in peoples brains due to cultural and societal pressures, most people don't truly believe in any of it anyway. Most of you understand why you need to get a flu shot every year, but still deny evolution. Most people don't really believe in hell, because if they did they wouldn't ever sin. However we are battling with imperfect animal brains that for better or worse are able to take note of that primal nature. It's a very personal topic that is hard to breach with most people, because you generally are addressing peoples lack of self-awareness.

I don't want to rant, too late I know, but let us not be rude or attack people personally for their beliefs, but help them question their way out of the paper bag. It's quite liberating.

Feels to good to believe in a higher power not to have faith in him. It's not worth takin a chance not believing when my life has def turned around since I put my faith in him. Try it you may be happier than you ever thought

The idea of god is a total insult to the human race. It is giving people the idea that we just appeared. Human race has cam so far and worked so hard for everything it has accomplished. People should be more proud of everything are ancestors have accomplished. Everything around us is impressive and a great accomplishment. The human race was almost extinct so many times that god is a total insult to how far we've came and how strongly we survived.

People do believe in hell that's why they are saved, God sent his only son to give us a way to make it to heaven. You sin, we were born into sin, it is our nature. This has been going on since Adam and Eve, that's why people sin. God gave us free will that's why you live in a wicked world. What kind of God would he be if he made us love him? He simply doesn't want to make us love him he wants us to love him because we actually do, he wants us to accept his son on our terms not his so he knows that it's real.
