Not in all parts.Rite Aid, Fruths, Wendy's and a few of the surrounding streets do, but down by Gino's and heading downtown didnt. That was an hour ago so other places might have it by now.

Yep it's gonna be a long time they are wasting resources by sending them to that f'n golf tourney instead of fixing local areas my power ain't on in a day or to someone is getting there ass kicked lol this is bullshit. I don't work and pay my taxes just to sit and be miserable in 90 degree weather. Aep get your lazy ass's out in fix the power in my area.

There were over 500 poles takin down.. With a 3 to 4 man crew it's take 4 or 5 hrs to put one up and repair on average.. That's not counting all te transmission stations and things of that sort.. They can only do so much.. How about we give them some credit for workin there longs days in these conditions

Those guys are doing a fine job. I still am without electric, but know it won't be as long as it has been. It is an inconvenience for sure. They are doing their best to get everybody up and running.
With this said, I would like to add that a lot of this damage could be averted if the trees close to the power lines were trimmed back. I know you can't stop it all, but drive around and look at all the power lines you see running thru the middle of these trees. Its just disaster waiting to happen.
