There food has gotten so bad that I'm not really sure what they're relying on to stay in business! There was a time when the food there was great and it was a really good place to eat. Billy & Johnny really need to step back and take a good look at their business! All of the food quality has went downhill! I have ordered several times in the past from them and everything I received was way overcooked or burnt! Ordered 2 sandwiches and steak fries, and a pizza for our kids one night that was delivered too burnt to eat, and only one sandwich and fries was delivered, returned the burnt pizza and asked for a new one to be re-delivered along with the missing sandwich, when the new pizza came it was even more burnt than the first one, and we never did get our second sandwich and steak fries! The last time I ordered the steak sub the meat had a very bad, almost processed, or thawed and refrozen taste and was not good at all! Friends ordered delivery from there last week and both ended up with burnt lasagna! Even the salads don't seen to be nearly as fresh and good as they once were! I take pride in spending my money on food in our hometown restaurants and try to not cross the river to eat out, but as it seems with Village Pizza lately, they're not leaving the public much choice here lately! I really hope how soon they are able to get their act together! I really miss the old Village Pizza Inn and wish they would take more pride in their business and what they serve to the public! The wings are only the tip of the ice, their problems go much deeper than that. If they don't get it together really fast and soon, they're gonna lose a lot more than a little wing business! So sad to see such a good little hometown restaurant going down the tubes fast! Billy, Johnny, Management, Servers, Cooks, and All Other Staff, please take a big step back and reasses your business and give us back the old Village Pizza Inn food and service so we can continue to support our own hometown reataruant!

I could not agree more. We haven't been back in a few months because if this. Does the smoke smell still come through to the restaurant side?

It would be a shame to lose VP because I remember going there when I was just a teen and it is kind of a staple of Point Pleasant. Maybe they will sell it to somebody who will rejuvenate it and bring it back to it's former glory. We can only hope.

That's what happens with stupid people with greedy intentions do not know how to run there store let alone hire a real manager. Sell that place so you greedy jack offs can make some money and hopefully some who knows what there doing before yet another business in point pleasant closes again.

I would absolutely love to see Gary Cotton buy that place back! When Gary owned and ran it everything there was fabulous, the food, the service, the atmosphere, the employees, and all. So sad to see such a great place taking a major dive down with very little chance of pulling through! The last time I ate there I had to deal with what I'm thinking was a manager. She was a really thin lady, kinda short curly-like brown hair, looked to be maybe in her early to mid 50s, kinda rough looking and walked with a little bit of limp and I believe wore glasses! She was of no help at all running around drinking her own beer, trying to fix or handle a problem while she was almost as drunk as most if the guests. What a friggin mess! What in the world is going through Johnny and Billy's minds I will never know! No more VPI for my family!

Within six months it'll be shut down. I wanna buy it. I would be the owner. I would hire a GM! A few of the regular drunks would not come there. I'd make it more family oriented. Like its suppose to be.

There's nothing really family oriented about drunks letting there kids play in the back parking lot. Smoking n drinking were the kids games are at isn't really fair to the children there in my opinion either. Even stranger is the fact that just about anyone can walk in the kitchen.

If you all hate it so much then just don't go there. And as far as being shut down I don't think so. Most of you people don't have two nickels to rub together anyway!!! Village is a family oriented place and is in alot better shape than it used to be.

Maybe Point Pleasant will pass a no smoking ordinance like most cities in this country and the smoke won't knock you down when you walk into the game/party room at VPI. I think the only thing that is keeping them afloat are the gambling machines. What a family friendly environment.
