Kim and Ann quit because they were screwed over by the manager. She was doing bad things at the store and making them do all her work. They finally stood up for themselves and she tried to set them up and get them fired. They reported her and nothing was done. They had no choice but to quit. If you shop there you will be supporting a company that keeps a woman who lies steals and abuses disabled workers. I know this for a fact.

Kim and Ann were the best employees Goodwill ever had. They loved their customers and treated them like family. They are sadly missed and loved. I hope they are doing well.

Idk what you people are talking about, but every time I've ever shopped there it was ok. Sounds more to me like a personal vendetta. Such a shame.

More like shame on this company for allowing such corruption. Guess if you are an honest hard worker be prepared to be treated like crap. You better believe she will rip you off and she takes the good stuff to sell herself. I have seen her do it!!! She had one of those poor disabled worker kids crying one day. SAD!!! that woman still runs that store and the two honest people are gone. From what I hear they are much happier now. I miss those two they truely did treat you like family. The good workers end up leaving because of The manager. SHAME ON HER!!! I reported her too and nothing was done. I don't shop there anymore.

You are right shame. Everything you said is true. Miss those girls. Janice will have to answer to a higher power some day. I used to love going in there when I came to Point. Not just to shop but to talk to the girls because just like everyone has said they treated us like family. They were fair on the prices and didn't rip you off like Janice does. Just not the same and I don't even bother going anymore.Hurts me to hear what happened to them I didn't know till I read this. Sorry girls! You are loved and missed by your friends.

Wow, this post cracks me up because it shows the stupidity of some people. First of all to the person who "knows for a fact" I know that you are LYING!!!!! Secondly, so sad that someone is such a coward that they don't mind posting someone's first and last name that they are lying about but are too scared to post their own name. Anybody with eyes knows this manager does NOT make her employees work while she doesn't. I see this lady out sweeping the parking lot a couple of times a week on my way to work.(of course the people that are spreading lies wouldn't see that because they would rather collect a government check than work anyway.) I've never seen a manager in any other store sweeping the parking lot. And I would stake my entire bank account this lady woul NOT steal. So the real shame here are the people that have nothing better to do than spread bold face lies that only imbeciles would believe about someone that has never hurt a fly. Yes, I love to shop at Goodwill and i have been treated very well by all the employees.

I dont know whether to feel sorry for you most because you are such a LIAR or because you have nothing better in your life to live for than to make up lies.

lol you must be really good friends if you didn't know they didn't work there till now. And prices are set from corporate headquarters in most Goodwills so you will have to find a different reason to complain.

great post. I don't know these people other than seeing them in the goodwill shop but I think it is a shame to drag someone's name through the mid because they got mad about something petty.

Oh and I know the original posts are from a couple of years ago, but if anyone wants to know the truth. I was friends witht the people that started this. "Shopper" and "Truth" are the same person and she didn't need to ask what happened to those employees because she is a sister to one of them. She was just looking to get a bunch of people to say bad things for the store since here sister don't work there any more. Just wanted to share that with whoever still cares.

Wrong!!! Truth and shopper are not the same person. I am an EXcustomer. I have seen and heard the truth and you are either blind or doing things yourself is why you are supporting her. Customers and empoyees have seen her doing these things and she has been reported more than once. Truth!!!

I did know those two girls when they worked there years ago. I don't get to see them except maybe at the foodland or somewhere but I know they are good and didn't deserve what happened to them. Those girls don't have anything to do with this and have forgiven her for what she did. She is a wolf in sheeps clothing and what was written on here is the truth. If anyone gets struck by lightning it will be her.

i used to love this goodwill store,it was by far the best goodwill store that i had been to,but now its all changed and not for the better, these items are donated but the point pleasant goodwill store is marking them up to almost as expensive as store prices, the dollar bins are now gone, guess they thought the public should not get anything as cheap as a dollar, heaven forbid! even low end jeans, they are charging $6.00 a pair, & the name brands jeans are $10.00, i think this is just too high, lots of people shop there for their kids clothes when they cant afford the big store prices, but now this goodwill is just after the almighty dollar, i don't go in there much, and probably will just stop going all together, especially since now they quit the end of the month sale, guess they thought the customers were getting the donated merchandise too cheap, shame on this money grubbing goodwill!

Goodwill is supposed to be for those who can't afford to buy new. Instead their prices are so high you might as well buy new.
