My poor, poor coworkers ! You simply have no clue at all, do you?
If you really want your eyes opened, go to the public, free site for West Virginia Health Care Authority and look up Pleasant Valley Hospital on the site. This is a community owned PUBICLY owned not for profit hospital, and ALL of its business is transparent, or supposed to be, to the public owning it. There is a thread called YODA, or should be, where every salary at PVH above $55,000. a year MUST be posted, by law. If it is not there, call the WVHCA and ask where it is. Of course, they still hide all kinds of money in bonuses, travel expenses, expense accounts, "perks" like cars and "educational" or "business" trips, etc. etc. etc.
You WILL be shocked at what you learn! Want to know more about PVH, just follow all of my postings.
The people that are complaining are in non skilled jobs. You have to get an education if you want to make the bucks. Its all about supply and demand. Someone making $7.80/hr looking up public records of people that make over $55k is not going to help them at all. Why because everyone making this much money at a minimum is in a healthcare, Educated, Licensed position. Nurses, Therapists,Administration, Doctors. Department heads. Being a secretary isn't going to get you to this level. And for the one with the education in pharmacy tech. You made the same mistake many have made before you just like everyone with a business degree. If you don't research the career before hand then its a pig in a poke.
know where your going before you start your journey.
You can go to college and get a masters degree that might make your family happy, but if there's no market or demand for the career you are WASTING your time and MONEY......

Obviously, you have no college education. Are you the towboat pilot artist, making collages out of porn magazines in the pilot house (or do you just sit on topix and play with yourself)? rahahahahahaha

Oh i agree 150% about the raises. Im very pissed. I have those papers about income. With the exception of head . Maintenance. Who is making over 50k without a degree.
Besides u missed the point, which was dont expect minimum wage jobs to turn into $25-30/hr job. Its not going to happen. I can say this because Ive done all the jobs. Then at 30 got off my butt and went to college
say wha?!!

I can tell you where those raises went, they went straight into the pockets of the two that got away with millions of dollars and NOT a thing was done about it!!! Not to mention the fact that administration get their raises every year!!! That place is low down, dirty and shameful to the employees!

And they work their asses off in the heat and the freezing ass cold, and don't get paid shit. Get your fatass out of the wheelhouse midnight ryder, and you might understand what a deckhand does and what little they get paid for what they do.

I looked up the avg for teachers in US and it is btw 44-68,000 per yr. Dont know why you wanted the comparison, but there it is. They also don't work in bad weather, have summers off, holidays off, and have crazy health care and pension.:) Let's compare. Give me another field of expertise that requires an education. Let's go!

Obviously, your lack of education caused you to be unable to READ. The avg United States income for teachers is 44-68k yr, and, of course, it depends on your education level and tenure. Why are we stuck on teachers, I thought I asked for some other educated fields....wanna go medical?
