When are they coming to other villages. The little ones. We have some of those men in my village. A nice little ceremony at the school would maybe show our young people today what their freedom costs. Most of them don't even want to serve today. This is hard to swallow from someone who has brother in laws that served in Vietnam and did it gladly because they were Americans. Bravo to them and to the men that served in the ATG. They can't get enough recognition and thanks. Even those who served in Vietnam and Korea that live in our village have been forgotten. All they get is a flag and a headstone when they die. Even the flag doesn't get here for the funeral so we have one we use from the village so it looks proper.
Never Forgotten

It is so sad how people forget those who would and have laid down their lives to secure our freedom that is so easily taken for granite. Those who serve should know that God does not forget their sacrifice and no matter what happens here, they are in the company of Jesus Christ. The only comfort that I can think of is in the Bible and concerns faith.Through faith and perseverence these brave men and women ultimately serve God. Hebrews, chapter 11 comes to my mind when I think of what is truely involved in the sacrifices these beautiful people have given. It is sad that governments don't give to these men and women what is due them after they gave their whole lives in dedication and I don't think any will ever be properly repaid if at all in this life.I KNOW they will see a better place and will receive the reward they can only receive through our Lord Jesus Christ.I am thankful for your service to all who have and are now serving in the name of true freedom in the cause of the United States of America. From an American Patriot to all servicemen and servicewomen, Thank You!
