most people dont have assult rifles. & why would you need anything that shoots more than 10 rounds. anyway. if you cant kill an animal or protect yourself from the boogie man with 10 rounds . you dont need a rifle or gun anyway.our children should be worth more than your gun rights. now dont get me wrong Im all for right to bear arm. & protect yourself. but lets use common sense you really think our schools should have armed gaurds. for our children to be safe.I cant believe the good ole USA has let it get this far.before we change our gun laws. just saying. folks thats my opinion.
What is an "assult weapon"most 22 rifles would i guess classfide as an assult weapon because most of them hold 15 bullets the gun they are wanting to band is a 22 rifle just built on a different frame but how many school shooting are these type of weapons used,my guess is almost none but the latest and what would lead anyone to think that if a mental case was going to shoot anyone in a school they would not use a pistol, its easy to see this is politics, not an answer to the problem but would someone please tell me how passing a law is going to fix a mental problem,if so then i'm all for curing all mentals by passing laws, and yes i support teachers being trained in such a case and being armed to protect our children if the teacher chooses to do so,but it in no way can be mandatory teachers are not security personel,i also support a security person but the teacher in the class room is the only person to know exactly what the situation is at the moment that it takes place by the time the security person reaches the classroom or figures out which classroom then its to late to saves lives, but the problem is not the person doing the shooting in all cases, parents are to blame for not trying to raise their children in christian homes,do you think they would take the blame for not raising their children in a proper way,no not them.
