Talk to your parents. Most people that get some kind of assistance have parents on assistance. It seems to run in families.

my parents never got any type of gov assistance & there were 6 kids in my family. i am a single mother with 2 kids & have had to ask for help. i have always had a job but my hours are few in the summertime. one person cannot support a family & i am not ashamed to draw a little bit in food stamps. not everyone on welfare is on it because they are lazy & dont want to work. jobs are few & far between & even then alot of them dont pay enough to keep people out of debt. there's nothing wrong with getting help if you need it & if you qualify why not. thats what the help is for. im not going to let my kids go hungry if i can help it.

Well just sit here in this town and keep drawing the stamps,do you think there will be jobs here again,no do you think that you will ever get a job here that will pay any money,no so like a frog placed in a pan of water that just been placed on a stove just sit there until you die, there are jobs but not here and there will never be,get your arse out of here, there is or never will be a future here, its not ashame to be in need, but it is to make it a way of life and it sounds as though you have decided to go that route, one person cant have children, where is the person or persons that helped you get children, welfare is not much of a life, unless you just dont wont another.

You should get all the help that you can get to suport your family. There is no shame in geting help from goverment or family.Hold your head up high.

You and millions just like you CAN help it and eat better than the rest of us while doing it. Get another job? A few hours during the summer. Get a BETTER job. Beans and cornbread go a long way on very little and don't tell me kids don't grow up healthy that way. My mom and Dad raised a housefull and we are all healthy.

Food stamps are there and so easy to get because Obama wants to control EVERYONE and does that by making people dependent on the government. Pay your own damn way. How many piercings and tatoos do you have? Smoke? Buy lottery tickets? Use that money for your family and quit making other people feed you!

Responsible people would have had life insurance, especially at a young age it doesn't cost much. There are jobs to be had just not people that want them. Kicking people when they are down? Then get the hell up and support yourself. Everyone has problems, but there is no free ride.......well, I correct myself.........I guess there is if you just plain don't care. It's not OUR job to take care of you and your kids. That is what jobs are for. The government will PAY you to go back to school and get an education so you can get a job that pays more than minimum wage.......USE IT!
