I was wondering if any one has been to Party Poppers? I have seen it advertised a few times. What is there? Is it a good place for kids and what ages?

Any business like that or Fun World is facing enormous challenges to make it more than a few months. There's an incredibly limited amount of disposable income in this county. You're likely not gonna get business from surrounding cities and with the economy in Pocahontas and the tiny towns around, folks just can't afford much at all these days except on the very basics.
Time will tell but unless these folks have a huge surplus of cash to keep the place afloat with very limited incoming coming in for a few months (and maybe even longer) until it can build a reputation and start drawing some business from out of town, it's likely not going to be around come spring. Nothing against the business or the folks who own it, just going mainly on location, the building history, economics, and the lack of extra income most people face on a weekly basis in Pocahontas. |

what is party poppers? never heard of it.

It is on Old County road. Been in there once, not a bad place. Something like Pump it Up in Jonesboro, but they have more activities than just the bounce houses. I am a fan of their page on facebook. They have pictures on there, go check it out. |

Judged: 1 1 The cup ckes will get everything sticky and dirty , what do you think they are running there a welfare program for losers like you . It's a business they have to charge to make a living. |

Judged: 1 1 1 Why don't you take your cupcakes to Wal-mart and let the kids play with their toys for free and see what their managers tell you. Party Poppers has signs posted for NO Outside food or Drinks. I would say that includes cupcakes. What is wrong with having your cupcakes before you take the kids to play? That is what I would do if I could not afford the $125. The owners are nice people and are not near as high priced as the $500 that it takes to rent Pump in Up in Jonesboro. If you haven't, stop by and look you will see that they have a lot more to do than Pump it Up too. I wish them luck and hope people like you don't ruin a good thing they have started. |

Judged: 1 1 1 No I wanted to pay for the 5 kids to play. I just don't think it's fair to charge $125 for 5 kids to bounce and eat a cupcake. That's paying $25 per kid. I never asked for anything free. I could see charging $125 if I was bringing 15-20 kids, but 5 kids! Give me a break!!! |
