I have a old Panasonic phone that I've had over 15 years and I think the battery is going out again. The original battery lasted about 8-10 years but the last 2 replacement batteries have only lasted a couple of years and I bought them at Radio Shack for around 25-30 bucks a piece.
I got onto the Amazon website today and found the original Panasonic batteries for $5.95 each. I was thinking about buying a new phone but a good Panasonic with all the features I want is right at $100.00.
That should tell you something about Radio Shack, Most Radio Crap products are inferior to name brand. Stay out of the place.

I've purchased many batteries from this company. They have some good deals too.

This site is in China. I buy flashlights from them. I've never had a problem with their service or shipping. Their Cree flashlights are fantastic. Better than Surefire lights.

Thanks for your comment. I haven't checked them out yet but Amazons price is hard to beat as far as batteries for cordless phones.

I finally broke down and bought a new battery for my phone when the handset would not work at all. You could talk through the speakerphone but the volume is louder on the handset and I don't hear well.
I live in Illinois and the closes place around to buy a battery is Radio Shack so I went there again and it was $24.86.

The RS battery will work for about 6 month or a year if you're very lucky.

I think you are wrong about that. I know the last battery I bought from Radio Shack lasted a couple years, maybe longer than that. This time I kept the package and the receipt for the battery and I'll see.
