We are such a blessed people!! God is so good. I wish everyone reading this would experience His love like I do. And there is no end to it. He is there, waiting and longing for you. Why don't you call on Him if you haven't already? Praise His holy name!

# An event that appears inexplicable by the laws of nature and so is held to be supernatural in origin or an act of God:

an effect or extraordinary event in the physical world that surpasses all known human or natural powers and is ascribed to a supernatural cause.

an effect or extraordinary event in the physical world that surpasses all known human or natural powers and is ascribed to a supernatural cause.

I don't know what 'miracles' you people are witnessing, but unless they defy the laws of nature it is not a 'miracle' but an everyday occurrence.

Parting the Red Sea that is a miracle. Getting out of bed everyday that is not a miracle.

Manna from Heaven that is a miracle. Having a baby that is not a miracle.

Jesus healing the sick that is a miracle. Going to the doctor to get medication that is not a miracle.

Please let's STOP minimizing God's AWESOME POWER by claiming that normal everyday things are miracles. People give birth everyday, people get out of bed and go to work everyday, people go to the doctor for medication everyday. Those things simply are NOT miracles. When you attempt to make those things miracles you attempt to make God less than He is. HE IS AN AWESOME AND POWERFUL GOD! Let's not forget that!

I never said that God didn't save anyone. Please learn how to READ and stop bearing FALSE WITNESS!

As far as the healing thing goes, I don't doubt that the Lord can heal whomever He wants to. I don't however believe that he uses the 'laying on of hands' as some religions claim. That would put too much emphasis on the person doing the 'laying on of hands' and would take away from God.

AND if there are people who claim that they can do these things then they need to go and clean out the hospitals! And don't give me that bunk about them not being healed because of their lack of faith. That was NEVER a requirement of Jesus.

And it came to pass the day after, that he went into a city called Nain; and many of his disciples went with him, and much people. 12 Now when he came nigh to the gate of the city, behold, there was a dead man carried out, the only son of his mother, and she was a widow: and much people of the city was with her. 13 And when the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her, and said unto her, Weep not. 14 And he came and touched the bier: and they that bare him stood still. And he said, Young man, I say unto thee, Arise. 15 And he that was dead sat up, and began to speak. And he delivered him to his mother.

Now I suppose if the mother didn't believe that the boy was indeed alive he would have dropped dead again. Or if the boy didn't believe that he was alive I suppose he would have dropped dead. Jesus healed the boy and healed him INSTANTLY and there was no 'make sure you believe enough' to get healed.

Anyone who claims that is blaspheming the WORD OF GOD.

AND, I might add these people did not seek out Jesus or ask Him to heal the boy. Some of those 'healing' folks claim that you have to seek them out because supposedly the only people that were healed sought Jesus which as you can see in the above passage simply is not true.

My response was to good ol boy.

And as far as my 'opinion' of God that matters not. What matters is what the Bible says and I believe what the Bible says.

Some people think that God wouldn't send people to Hell, but does their 'opinion' change FACTS? No.

And as far as being a stumbling block, anyone who professes things that are NOT BIBLICAL are the stumbling blocks. If you think anything I have said is in error, please PROVE it and not with your opinion or some CULT gibberish. I mean with actual BIBLICAL facts that are not twisted to force some agenda.

It's people that have a false sense of God and twist His word that are the stumbling blocks. God's Word is TRUE and the darkness hates light. So maybe if you don't like what I am saying maybe it is because you HATE THE LIGHT.

Miracles happen every day. Some people are just too blind to see them.
The miracles he did for me yesterday were small compared to the parting of the Red Sea, but none the less miracles.
Praise God. Amen.

My God is in my heart and life everyday. He breathed life into me and sustains that life daily. HE makes it possible for me to get up, go to work, take care of my family. It is only through HIM that I can do anything. HE is the author and finisher of all things. HE is the miracle in my life, and everything that HE does in my life is a miracle. Don't minimize God by saying that only the Biblical happenings are miracles. God is a huge great big God who can do huge great big miracles like you're talking about. But He is also able to miraculously contain Himself into my heart and my life, and do all those little miracles on a daily and minute by minute basis. A baby is a miracle from God. You should ask any mother who has waited and prayed for a child, she'll tell you. Or a mother whose child has had a devastating illness and recovered, she'll tell you about the miracle. The God you're talking about is too big, too far away, too unatainable. My God is with me everyday, loving me and THAT is the biggest miracle of all.

this thread was started to glorify God & to be a witness to others. it was not started to get a religious argument going. this is what religion does to a person. we all need to get away from religion, run from it as if it were a posionous snake, for that is what it is.......posion!! instead, form a relationship with God. we all as Christians have one destination in mind (Heaven), but we are choosing different routes to get there (different denominations). Please get away from the religion-it will rob you of so much. form a relationship with God-He loves you so much & desires that of you. We all have choices-please make wise ones. i don't usually like to make comments on here due to the negativity that comes about, but my heart hurts for those that are blinded by religion, upbringing, drugs, themselves, etc, etc, etc. if you will, with a sincere heart, seek out a relationship with God, He will in no way turn from you.

The days of miracles ended with the death of the last apostle because only they by the Lord Jesus himself were given the gifts. Anyone claiming modern day miracles or healings is in fact a false prophet. There is only One true church> Wake up people. Confess your sins in Christ Church

Preacher man is right on about the miracle thing, but unfortunately his church believes that unless you are a member of his church in good standing and have been baptized you are not going to Heaven.

And there is no reason why you would have to confess your sins to them in their church. That is what the Catholics do and there is no scriptural basis for it. They just like to keep a 'record' of your sins to blackmail you with.
