I can understand several one sided calls in any game, but poor officiating and continual abuse of one team should not be tolerated. There is at least one official that should be fired, someone should stand up for that team.

not so much, seen them get beat and lose before... just not by the officiating. You must have a guilty conscience and be wearing stripes. Hope you get over that soon. The team will learn to outplay the officials as well.

it doesn't make any difference now..... the team will learn, and be better for it. Its a great reality check. Life isn't all about the game, and it isn't always fair. But, its never right to leave abuse of power unchecked.

All- I am the old man with glasses that you keep referring to in your posts. I called the Pocahontas - Hardy game last night and you need to know a few things:

1) the Pocahontas coach had been drinking before game and was verbally abusive which impacted my ability to be objective on close calls

2) the Pocahontas boys were vicious and it pissed me off as the game progressed which cost them some calls

3) the fans were the worst I have seen in 35 years of calling games. Got chased out of town after game and called terrible names during game. Had a six year old call me a pr**k faggo*

4) your team is terrible Bunch of hillbillies that can't dribble and foul on every play and then blame refs

I will not call another game in your redneck gym When I am out of uniform will take any of you hicks on.....live in peach orchard if you want to find me!

LOL! Ride'em, cowboy! I never mentioned a particular game or date.... you filled in the blanks, thank you.
1)so you are saying that rather than giving a technical to an abusive coach, you prefer to intentionally make bad game calls?
2)you let your pissed off emotions direct some calls that should have gone the other way?
3)unlikely you got chased out of town... everyone else was headed towards home, just like you. Another bad call on your part. You are developing paranoia.
4)team is very good proven by record.
Stay out of all gymns, lest anyone should be affected by your bad attitude.

I'm a parent from another school with the misfortune of playing you hicks.
1. Why are you more upset about a badly called game than a drunk coach?
2. Your players are vicious. I have video of one of our boys being physically picked up and thrown down by one of your players and no foul called. Did you cry about that bad call? I bet you didn't. Your coach was cheering.(of course now we know he may have been drunk huh?)
3. You have the worst, most white trash parents in the state. In every game you have inappropriate students, but you were the only town we played with parents screaming and cussing. I also heard very small children using terrible language.
4. Your team may have a good record, but it has a terrible reputation! I have no doubt that the ref felt threatened. The local sheriff was alerted at halftime when we played you because we feared for the safety of our students should you lose.
The real issue here is why AAA appears to be willing to look the other way when you people clearly need some sanctions.

Seriously....do you really think that ref would get on here and write this stuff out. NO! And I will say that OUR Coach WOULD NOT be drunk at a game- SERIOUSLY! Furthermore, I have seen where the fans of other teams are way worse than Pocahontas Fans. For instance, ICC, their fans were OUT OF CONTROL! Also, the "student" fan section at Highland was way worse than the PHS fan section. They taunted the players and the coaches! Get over it and stop bad mouthing our coach when it's not justified!

I wasn't crying. That would be the OP. I was just pointing out that your boys are really great at fouling. I'm sorry they got caught in one game, but crying about it and blaming the refs for your loss is really dumb when you seem to have far worse problems. Most folks would be concerned that the coach showed up to a game drunk. The fact that y'all don't seem to care says a whole lot about your community. Of course, the parents of your players speak volumes about your town. Classy little place you have there.

Our coach was not drunk. He doesn't even drink. Stop spewing lies.
