Let's just be thankful they caught this kid before he fired it at anyone. I never would have imagined this be going on in Pocahontas. People need to start LOCKING their guns and making sure that the key is either on their person or somewhere that their kids cannot get them. Anyone who doesn't do that shows bad parenting.

Hope the kids at school don't get too scared to continue going to school even tho they finally caught this kid.

It was a toy gun. Not that makes things any better.

I believe it was a toy gun. People make all kinds of mistakes and they are not all due to bad parenting. What about kids that get in wrecks or do drugs. These things can be prevented, but is it due to bad parenting?

Im sorry but a high school student bringing a toy gun to school knew what they were doin. Is it the same student that made the threat last week?

Well, I'm glad it wasn't a real gun and would explain no one being harmed, but yes, agreed, doesn't make any difference of being a toy gun if the guy has been threatening the school for the past week.

I said not locking their guns is bad parenting.
A kid bringing a gun to school is the kid's fault because they know from right and wrong.

I'm not entirely sure.*I* am assuming, but I haven't a clue. My brother text my mother and said that this kid is one of these 'gangster wannabes'.

But even tho this gun he brought was fake, if this is the same threatening kid, he'll be having the same charges on him as if it were a real one.

If this kid was just doing it as a 'joke'. He picked a terrible time to try to play around.

First of all it was a toy gun there today but what if it would've been a real gun? Honestly I'm a high school student that goes there. The kid was a gangsta wannabe but why does that matter? In my opinion everyone needs to take precaution and it's not from bad parenting it was his choice to bring it to school he knew what it would cause. To ease your mind's it wasn't the same kid from the last gun scare. I know him personally it was a rumor.

At least the School will have a police officer on campus. Before long someone could get hurt if we are not careful.

I know the name of who it is because my brother told me. But as previously stated by a few others, since the guy is a minor, I don't believe his name can be publicly released.
