We have had both Direct TV and Dish Network, they are both a rip off, we now have Sudden Link and are very happy with it.

Netflix will destroy cable. Tablets will destroy cable. Watch video online. 57 cities now have free WiFi

FREE WiFi in Poky? I like your optimism. I hope to see that happens one day.

Dish and Direct do make great rain detectors.

The best way to get cheaper tv is to subscribe to either Dish or Direct....keep it for a year, taking advantage of the initial, low-rate, subscription offers....then switch to the one you don't have....and take advantage of that provider's initial, low-cost, subscription offers for another year.

Just keep switching back and forth....year after year.....after year.

Or....you could get yourself a beanie with an antenna, like I have.

Don't do DISH in Pocahontas! The jackass they have installing it, Mark S?, from Maynard, will screw you over! First, he put our dish on the neighbors property and it took a few weeks, multiple phone calls and threats from the neighbor before he would move it. He told us to tell him about any changes, but he wasn't processing them and our bills were huge until we fixed it with the company. And he was drinking at our house and left his empties on our front porch. Class act, that idiot. Reported him to DISH and they don't give a damn; just pay your bill.
