Oh, yeah, I forgot. Just because a member of the armed forces has a tattoo doesn't mean he's a hero....or vice-versa.

I have seen Doctors and Lawyers with tattoos. I guess tattoos are for people who like them, if you don't like tattoos, don't get one, that simple. I have tattoos and piercings,We own 2 homes and 2 cars. It is really not your place to judge anyone, mind your own business.

Southern Gurl, if you get a tattoo for each of your life's "changes", by the time you die you could work in a freak show as "The Tattooed Lady", couldn't you?
Law degree and paramedic, too? Are you one of those parasitic, ambulance chasin', lawsuit seekers?
I believe she used to live here and was involved with a child molester.

Tattooed people are exhibitionists. They feel fulfilled when others stare at their garish "body art". They despoil their skin simply to attract attention to themselves and to make the statement, "I am different, and I don't mind sitting through hours of pain in order to use my body as a public billboard to publicize my ignorance and/or to display really bad artwork."
Sure, getting tattooed is one's, personal, choice. But, in my opinion, only exhibitionists and people with self image problems are tattooed.
One doesn't see many upstanding citizens, community or world leaders, scientists, doctors, teachers, etc;, hanging around tattoo shops. If you wonder why they don't, it's because they are secure in themselves as individuals and have no need to make a public spectacle of themselves by defacing their skin.
No, I'm afraid most tattooed people are those of low intelligence and can be described as being people of questionable morals and upbringing....for the most part.
In my opinion, tattooed people are a bit "touched".
There are a lot of professional people with body art, all of my tattoos mean something to me,if you don't like tattoos, don't get one, problem solved.

Hello Kim, so you left the area and what happened to your child molester boy friend?
Still lying about having a law degree , don't you still have an outstanding arrest warrant in Missouri?

Whoever posted this is too afraid of the results from people who personally don't want a tattoo but have nothing against them. Tattoos and piercings are a normal part of life. If you can't accept them, you have your head up your ass. Most tattooed or pierced people I know are pretty nice, open minded people. I'd rather date a nice, fun girl covered in tattoos, even on her tits and stuff, than a stuck up snob who doesn't agree with anything and only cares about looking clean and straight-edge to other snobs. By the way, by continuing to post, you clueless people are feeding the troll and not letting this thread die.

If you move here you will find that the majority of the people here are very judgemental.

I have 3 tattoos and plan on getting more. I graduated with honors from my high school and am 1 semester away from a Bachelor's of Science degree in Psychology from one of the top schools in the state (and top of my class, too!) I have an extensive vocabulary and a thirst for knowledge.

I was also raised in a Christian environment and a very loving, caring home. I have a greater amount of morals than you seem to as I am not judging you for NOT having tattoos.

Don't have any, don't want any. I consider this a sign of dignity.
All you proponents, go ahead and splotch yourselves up on any whim you like. Because it'll be there for looooooong after you get bored with it.

I cut my child out of the will because their spouse got them. If there is a divorce I will redo the will. It's my money, I can do as I please.

I have one tattoo. It's on my pecker. When limp, it reads, simply, "RED'S".

But, when I'm sexually excited, it reads, "RED'S TRUCK STOP AND RESTAURANT, INTERSTATE 40-WEST, EXIT 48, CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE"

I have tattoos and piercings and a great self image and a very high IQ. I have known many professional people with tattoos and piercings, bankers, doctors, attorneys, teachers and youth ministers to name a few. The body is a temple, decorate the walls.

In response to some of the comments on here:
-I have one tattoo so far, and it's in a place where only those I want to see it will. I don't get body modifications for attention, I hate attention, and if I wanted attention I would've got it in a place where everyone could see it. And I'm definitely no "exhibitionist." I hide my body when I go outside. I don't even wear skirts or shorts in public, and I never go swimming because I don't want to show off my body like that.
-I'm not the smartest person around, I'll admit that, but I'm not some inbred, trailer trash, high school drop out, that's for sure.
-Some tattoos are bad art, but not all. I researched all the tattoo artists around here to make sure I only got the best to do my tattoo.
-And as far as not caring about someone's story, who cares if you don't care? Lol. People get tattoos because it's THEIR story, because they want to have something to represent their story on their body, for them, not for everyone else. If somebody gets a tattoo for everyone else in the world, not for themselves, they're an idiot.
-Trust that anyone you see with a tattoo didn't get it because they want you to know them, and definitely not because they care about your opinions.
-I'm not responding to this because I care about if you think I'm trailer trash or not, I'm responding because I can't stand people judging with ignorance, you're closing your mind completely to even knowing more and understanding it before judging. If you would just accept to learn about it, and then want to judge people based on it, whatever. But this is just ridiculous.
