I would be, totally, surprised if everyone who posts on topix, besides me, doesn't have, at least, one tatto.
Tattooed people are exhibitionists. They feel fulfilled when others stare at their garish "body art". They despoil their skin simply to attract attention to themselves and to make the statement, "I am different, and I don't mind sitting through hours of pain in order to use my body as a public billboard to publicize my ignorance and/or to display really bad artwork."
Sure, getting tattooed is one's, personal, choice. But, in my opinion, only exhibitionists and people with self image problems are tattooed.
One doesn't see many upstanding citizens, community or world leaders, scientists, doctors, teachers, etc;, hanging around tattoo shops. If you wonder why they don't, it's because they are secure in themselves as individuals and have no need to make a public spectacle of themselves by defacing their skin.
No, I'm afraid most tattooed people are those of low intelligence and can be described as being people of questionable morals and upbringing....for the most part.
In my opinion, tattooed people are a bit "touched".

In my opinion, maybe you're just too chicken shit to get a tattoo or you can't afford one. My tattoos are all professionally done and are by no means "bad artwork". I get tattoos for myself, because they represent something in my life. I don't give a damn if anyone else takes notice of them or not. I was perfectly happy and secure with myself before I had tattoos and I still am. There are plenty of good upstanding citizens that have tattoos, including doctors, lawyers, teachers, and many others. You need to keep one thing in mind before you judge people...a day may come when a tattooed person may be the only one that can save your life or the life of someone you love. Grow the hell up and stop pretending that you're better than everyone else just because you don't like body art.

Inked Up....I truly believe that should I be drowning, and I saw a tattooed hand reaching out to save me, I would squander the last of my life's breath by opening my mouth to bite it.

I can honestly say that if it was my hand that was bitten, I would still save you. But once you were safe from the water, I would beat the shit out of you.

I don't judge people by their tattoos , except if it is some form of hate emblem such as the nazi SS sign.
I haven't figured out why anyone who hasn't been in prison would want a barb wire tat , but then again it's not my business .

I would never have a tattoo that represents any type of hatred. Getting a certain tattoo doesn't always reflect the conceived meaning behind it, such as the barbed wire or the teardrop. Barbed wire can signify strength, not just being confined, while a teardrop can mean regret, murder, or the loss of a loved one. For most people, a tattoo tells a story or represents a life changing event.

Bullshit! Everybody judges. You're judging right now. Stop trying to be all "Holier Than Thou" with your pathetic inked-up ass.
