Just another example of the on-going deaths and mutilations caused by Pit Bulldogs and Rottweilers...and the ignorance shown by the owners of such dogs, just to make others think they're MACHO MAN because they own such vicious animals.

Don't worry, folks. The Pit Bulldog breed along with Rottweilers' days are numbered. The deaths and mutilations are rapidly adding up and a national law will be in place, soon, to ban these two vicious killer breeds.

Of course the Pit Bull and Rottweiler owners will be screaming, "MY PIT BULL AND MY ROTTWEILER NEVER HURT ANYONE! THEY'RE THE GENTLEST DOGS ON EARTH!",..... but to no avail. Too many childrens graves bear mute testimony to the viciousness of these sorry animals.

But I'm not waiting for the national law to be passed. I've passed my own law...DEATH TO ALL PIT BULLDOGS AND ROTTWEILERS. When I see one running loose...I shoot it (a 22 long dosn't make much noise...but it's deadly on dogs). I'll take my chances on getting caught...either by the police or the animal's owner. I've been killin' the vicious bastards for 15 years and haven't been caught yet.

Don't forget the elderly. Someone posted something about an old man being eaten alive basically by a couple Pits down in Memphis while his daughter watched.

These dogs need to go the way of the dinosaur and the mammoth.

You Are so full of bs that it's running out your mouth and down your shoes , since when does a 22 long not make a lot of noise?
the crack you hear when the gun is fired is the bullet breaking the sound barrier . if you put a silencer on it then the bullet is too slow to kill the animal.
So go ahead and kill these dogs ,there are a couple of them out on Strawberry river drive near evening shade that just sit next to the road and chase the cars and they don't harm people or other animals I am sure the owner of those animals will shorten your career.
You are all BS talk and no walk .

maybe the bigger issue is dog fighting in the area... are they trying to combat a problem that they are not willing to admit exist?

I agree that pitbulls should be outlawed. They are skank dogs and are only seen around crackhouses because they help protect those people inside cooking their meth. I have never seen respectable person with a pit bull as a pet.
We have a male PitBull puppy, we DO NOT live in a crack house, we DO NOT use any kind of drugs, we DO work, pay taxes and own our own home. There are 6 PitBulls in our neighborhood, none of these people are druggies, we are all respectable members of the community. I have an idea, why don't we ban Idiots, Morons and Sex Offenders, they are the real threats in our community.

At last nights meeting a citizen proposed that the county pass an ordinance that would ban Pit bull terriers and some other breeds because they are dangerous to people ,pets and livestock.
I don't know if this is going to go any where but if you don't like it you should be voicing your concerns to the county judge.
As of June 2013 there are absolutely no plans to try and ban any breed of dog in Pocahontas or Randolph County, I called the Mayors office and the SO before we got our PitBull puppy, just to be sure.

I have four dogs. The oldest and friendliest is a pit bull. Then I have a half pit half who's my daddy, he likes to jump on peopls but otherwise harmless. Then I have a yorkie and a chihuahua. Guess what dog is the meanest, the one that bites and is unfriendly with kids. The chihuahua!!! Kids that come over to visit my son and always go straight to my pit and rub her belly she loves them, they love her.
I am a very respectable person not trash or a drug user. I do not associate my self with those kind of people.
I also have a cat that all my dogs get along with except for the chihuahua he is always attacking the cat. So not all pits are bad. Your gonna find bad apples in every breed just like there are bad apples in every race. Does not make all of them bad. For example I know of a couple who has a half yorkie half weiner that has bitten at least 4 kids in the face. Everyone just lets it go because it wasn't his fault the kid got in his face. I have kids get in my pits face all the time she has never bitten anyone. She just gives them kisses.:)
But people are gonna believe what they want. Some people cannot see the forest past the trees. I will continue to love all dogs no matter what others think.

I have seen what these dogs can do.. A friend of mine has a daughter that almost lost her arm by their so called family pet! They live in St Louis and I can tell you if they had not have lived so close to a hospital she would have died... Makes me sick when I see people posting how sweet those dogs are... They are sweet till they kill or attack someone!!!

That is one dog, how old was this child, and what was she doing at the time of the alleged attack? There are so many people who have PitBulls who have not attacked anyone. Banning all PitBulls would be like giving someone the death penalty because they look like they might turn into a serial killer.

The child was 4 at the time... She was playing outside and picked up a toy that was laying near the dog.
These dogs can turn on you in a heartbeat... Just don't know how many more innocent victims have to be mutilated for people to wake up.

I am very sorry about that poor child, I saw on channel 8 news a few months ago that a Pomeranian killed a baby, I guess all Pomeranians are killers and should be banned. Punish the deed, not the breed.

Our dogs DO NOT run loose, they are walked on a leash and have a large privacy fenced back yard to play in, they are inside most of the time. There will be no national ban on PitBulls, there should be a ban on slime ball mofos like you, you make me sick to my stomach, you are not even human.

I just looked this up, it was a Pomeranian that killed a tiny baby girl in Los Angeles in 2000, would not have an ankle biter

October 10, 2000
LOS ANGELES -- A Pomeranian dog killed a 6-week-old baby while the infant's caretaker briefly left the child unattended to warm a bottle of milk, authorities said. The relative found the girl's head in the dog's mouth Saturday night, Deputy Sheriff Cruz Solis said. The girl died of head trauma at an area hospital. The baby's name was withheld because her parents were out of the country and had not been notified. Animal-control officers took the dog.

How about this idea? Round up all the Rottweilers and Pit Bulldogs...then have public dog fights..to the death.. with parimutual betting, just like horseracing.
Charge admission...with all proceeds going to college funds for Arkansas kids.
Rottweilers would fight only other rottweilers. Pit Bulls would fight only Pit Bulls. Then there would be a Grand Championship Fight between the Champion Rottweiler and the Champion Pit Bull.
Sure it's barbaric! But, hell, they're gonna be euthanized anyway...and those two breeds love to fight and rip ass. Plus, it's all for a good cause...college funds...just like the lottery.
The last dog standing would have his nuts cut off sho he couldn't breed anymore, so there'd be no problem of the breed making a comeback What's to lose with this scenario? Everyone's happy.
Except the Rottweiler and Pit Bull lovers. And who gives a shit about them, anyway?
How about this idea, it is a great one. Round up all the idiots, morons and sex offenders, take them to the court house and have a public hanging.

I hope they do outlaw pit bulls and rotweillers. Sooner or later both of these breeds get violent and rip people up. Many times the victims are small children.
If the county needs help in exterminating these two breeds, I'll be available to help.
What dog breed has the best temperament?According to the American Temperament Test Society (ATTS), Pit Bulls pass their test with flying colors. In fact, the Pit Bull scores a little over 85% which is better than many dog breeds that people consider to be friendly or nice. To put that score into perspective, it is better than the Beagle, Cocker Spaniel, Collie, Golden Retriever, Pointer, Pomeranian, Poodle, Shih Tzu, Vizsla, and most other dog breeds actually. The average score of the general dog breed population is only around 77% so the Pit Bull scores much better than the average. The ATTS test focuses on and measures different aspects of temperament such as stability, shyness, aggressiveness, and friendliness as well as the dog's instinct for protectiveness towards its handler and/or self-preservation in the face of a threat. The success of Pit Bulls in this series of tests proves they are not naturally mean or violent.
