You don't have to believe something is true to think it is an attack. It is calling out police officers cowards which i definitely do not believe. Nice try spinning your way out of your statement that no one had attacked the PPD.

apparently you think it to be true AND somehow an attack on the pd.
i thought it was a stupid attempt at sarcasm and ignored it.
think about it some more or drive around town at 70 mph firing a gun and see what happens.

PPD fan : take a drive down Park Street TODAY, there are 3 units working with 2 officers per car. Therefore even my uneducated a$$ can figure that's 6 cops in 3 blocks of each other. Park Street and the cemetery is so crime ridden NOT

Park street has lots of speeders. And as you know, speeding is a gateway crime to becoming a terrorist. So they're fighting terrorism.

You need to stop attacking our police officers. They are brave and hardworking people and deserve much better than that. Our police force has greatly improved since we have had a new police chief. Plus the city wrote less tickets in 2012 than 2011. They really are serving and protecting. Check your facts before you open your mouth.
Who you respondning to mate? Curious. I want more police and more enforcement against crime. TEA

We need these officers and a change in policy. It really sucks when you and the police know that your neighbors are cooking meth and the police are doing their best to catch them in the act. But until that time you have to hope the dumb butts don't blow up your neighborhood because the officers can not just go up to the door and say we know what you are doing and we are going to search your home now.Criminals have way more rights than victims. But believe me if one of these tweekers blows up their lab and harms some innocent person they will pray death comes quick because we as a community are growing tired of the pieces of trash and its tie to take the trash out where it belongs.

Never had a need to call the police.I think we need law enforcement not nazis running around harrassing people. Let people live their own lives. Even people who are law abiding fear law enforcement in pocahontas. They have no respect for our rights or privacy

So tell us why there are not more accidents on that street, this is simple pocahontas has to many police officers for the size of town it is,think of the cost per officer, pay, car, gas, insurance, retirement, social sec,we are not a growing city and its time to make some ajustments in our police dept.this money could be used to invest into recruting jobs, ass. companys,we need start up companys from local people even with ten employees, these are the jobs that will grow, stay here we are wasting our time trying to get large employers because they are feeling the great sucking sound,no Obama care, this would help us greatly think about reducing just 2 officers at 150,000 cost per officer that 3 million over ten years, you have already saw waterloo leave and with so financial ass. we possible could have convinced them to stay, this ecomony and taxes along with health care is forcing people out of business.

We could make all the officers wear shorts and that would cut half of their uniform trouser budget. We'd probably save $1,000.00 a year! WOO-HOO!!!

You sound very intelegent, compareing 3 million dollars to a 1000,you are the very thing that is wrong with that town now,you must be a pd person to make a statement like this or the wife of,but how about some bicycles for them to ride, much more efficent and faster to cut through the alleys, not anywhere he could not be in pocahonts in ten minutes and most likely about the time it takes one to respond to a call now just think of how they could be conceled and how eazy it would be for them to slip up on the drug dealers "WHATA YA THINK" we can mount a blue light on his helment, get him a bucket to beat on for a siren,or we could save 3 million about every ten years, but the circus out on 67 in the walmart area when they only have a triffic stop looks as though they are having a bank hold up.

The only thing halting growth in Pocahontas are the city council. They don't pursue new business because they are financially secure and don not want their own businesses to suffer from competition. The police are not the problem. It is poor city management. Crocker put us in the toilet and bolted now we need some realpeople in office who care about the city and want to work more than they care about the title.

You obviously have no clue as to how much an officer costs.$150,000 per officer? Give me a break. How big do you think the police budget is? What do you think they get paid?

You are going to get drunk, drive recklessly, and liter? You think that makes you tough or cool? Get a clue. You are a coward compared to the officers that serve and protect us. Pocahontas has lost two officers in the line of duty. In steady of insulting these people maybe you should respect them and respect others by not endangering them with your reckless behavior.
