Kid there were excellent workers when that factory opened over a year ago. Dedicated workers that had been at Waterloo. Your good workers do not put up with the sh*t that company dishes out. Now, they can only get the lazy ones that they have. It's the company's fault that they are in the predictment that they are in now. They need to learn how to value good employees (by paying them & benefits) and get rid of the ones that are causing the problems. Seems like they get rid of the hardworkers and keep the ones that sit on their but though. HMMM

hey KID, wait till you been in the factory for 30 years and then lets see what your opinion is. as far as mic is concerned, mic you should shut the f#ck up you have know idea what your talking about. the fier dept comes in 1 time a year and inspect the fire hoses ans exits and thats it. anti-mic i enjoy reading your post.
For readers, you are wrong my friend, I wont shut up either. I was complimenting city Fire dept. Not fier. I was saying everyone works together to avoid a bad situation and usually it works. Guess Its diff. in AR. But in other states, citys, FD inspects twice a year. When they do, keeps hazards down, and is a great prevention tool to avoid OSHA bothers sometimes. But was complimenting our city employees, ALL of them. I am not faulting anyone in the factory problems. I feel like it sounds as tho the factory has some bad management. Sad to hear about the employees woes. What made you so mad? If you work there, I sincerely hope you stay and keep your job. But you dont sound happy. Find out where anti Mic works and put an app in there. Good luck to boot factory and to all employees.

Why Does everyone Blame the company for every thing? does anyone actually know what goes on in there. im a operator in second shift PU i see what actually goes down. most of the people are lazy ass hell. When ever a line is down noone picks up a broom, when ever something wrong with the machines and the operator working his butt off all the workers disapear and go smoke in the back. when line is ready to run a operator has to go and gather up his crew becuase there all in diferent places. all of this kills production. how do you get paid when you dont meet daily quotum? and its not even that in second shift we fixed all those problems. how about first shift. not to mention theres a few rasist ppl there they dont work as a family like we do, in our shift everyone knows eachother and we got a great boss who knows how to handle the machines. ive worked on the rotary a few times and work is hard but com on they need 2 ppl to pack some boots even when there running 5 molds a line its embarasing. what ATP really needs is some good workers who are willing to work. when ever someone gets offerd to go home everyone raises their hand just because they know they can collect unemployment not knowing unemployment hurts atp even more because they got to pay for some of it. some people in there steal some of the boots, once again how do you make money if your product is being stolen. alot of shit dont make sence. the pay yeah its true we dnt get paid but its understandable if the people gave to f*cks about work and not worry if they gon get to go home or not shit might actually work. thats all i got to say people that work there know who i am if they got something to say about it come n get me
hell you can not spell.make sense of anything.and more than likely just a plain brownie that may be the first public job ever had

My fathers one of their Top operators hes worked there for almost 9 yrs and he has no problem with anything, he loves the way shit is ran although we both agree managment could be better and we both agree its the workers. standart is made for a reason. its made to pay everyone in the line its ment to pay for quemicle spent that day and its ment to save money in case standart isnt ment the day before or after. when the lines are down if mabe some of the workers would help out things would get done quicker and stardart will be met meaning paychecks and quemicle

I wish everyone would just get a life. Yes, we all know that the company has had issues and still are having issues but not with payroll!!! Also, instead of reading this gossip watch the news then one might come to realize that hundreds of companies have shutdown, the employment rate is sky high, etc. We all can find something negative about anything. That is if that is all one wants to discuss. Lets discuss the local employees that receive a check wonder where they spend it.....you think maybe local whether it be buying a burger, gas, loaf of bread it is being spent local. I can honestly state that they are truly working hard too improve things. In fact I never have EVER worked for a PERFECT company, if someone states they have go to confession for we all wake up at sometime in a negative mood. One other thing how many industries do we have in Pocahontas that there has NOT been something negative mentioned. So do not judge for we all will face that ONE day. Honestly they are trying hard to make things better which it will not happen over night, a week or even a month. i know of 4 people from R.H. that I consider very good people. Three of them have even loaned employees money (fact) not because of payroll either. So for the negative yahoo's go get a job for chances are you do not have one. Yes, I judged the people that have posted. Give them a chance and hopefully down the road you would like to come work for them. Never say you will not ever work at a particulat place. ENJOY

Employee you might want to take your own advice and get a life: For you too are here reading and commenting on the gossip. Hummm guess maybe you are the same as the rest of us. What was it you said humm was it (chances are you do not have one) refering to a job: now why would you think that just becouse we are here voicing our opinion that we would be unemployed??? I would really like to know why you would think that? Oh people who live in glass houses should not throw stones.

I've got a really good job. One that actually give me a paycheck that I don't have to worry about bouncing. I'm also offered a very good benefit package. Also, most people I work with are very education and doesn't spell chemical with a q. Also, everyone I work with is legal to be in our country. I also don't have to worry about Osha coming in and shutting down my employer. It is very safe where I work. I've also got a very wonderful life. Don't you worry about me. I'm sure the other people that post on here are just like me! So, Mr. Employee, you can get a life!

I will not argue that you may be one of the few that have a nice place to work which offers their employees nice benefit packages as well. Maybe I was doing quite a bit of assuming which i fully apologize. It is that when I read items posted it upsets me that (most) of the items are second hand information. We, notice I included myself, strive on anything negative that is human nature then some pass information along without knowing every detail.
Another thing that upsets me is the reason there are plenty of industries all thru the U.S. like the boot factory but few are aware that the management is only taking advantage of what are U.S. government passed. I wish I had the act along with the date it was passed but it will literally make one sick that our elected officials would even think of putting something of that nature into law. Companies are no longer required to give breaks to their employees. I found it while searching for information regarding employee rights which are very limited. The only reason I can think of why it was passed is hoping to bring some of jobs back that were sent to Mexico and Asia. If I am able to locate it I will post it on this blog.
Again, the company is trying so it appears which only time will tell.
