Jess and no need for names is one person talking to himself, however the las post replied we should pay ppl what they are worth, but we cant do that because he does not work, however if you only paid what they were worth 50% of the employee's would starve to death, just showing up at the job does mean that you are a worthwhile employee.
"Hang on",

Obviously if you are paid at all which I doubt, you are overpaid.

Oh, and my employees are excellent workers, well groomed, dressed nicely and make more than minimum wage.

Customers compliment me on them all the time, and I past that along those compliments on to them.

I don't have to stand over them to know they are doing their job.

If I had to do that for any employee, I would not need them, it would be easier to do it myself.

"Hang on", evidently though you know what your worth more than I, and certainly it is LESS than even Arkansas' minimum wage.

The minimum wage should be lowered to 6.25 pr/hr. then manufacturers could invest more, and that would create more jobs. If people couldn't make a living at that, families could move in together and save on food, rent, and utilities.

Have you fallen and bumped your head? That is the most moronic thing I have ever heard. Most grown people do not want to move in with their families, they have their own homes and lives. The manufacturers would not invest and create more jobs, minimum wage should be at least $10 an hour.

interesting article.
corporate greed, profit for wall street, and dividends for shareholders hurting middle class an lower wages.
some good counter arguments, increased payroll, rise in retail prices, etc., in the comments.

first off I would like to say everyone blaming Obama is wrong... True he is a moron an running this country straight in the ground but he is not alone .. this country is run by hundreds of crooked ass politicians that want nothing more than to line their own pockets ... they do not follow the laws they pass on the citizens it is a total shit storm... as far as minimum wage .. I have worked half my life in this area and yes every time it goes up you are like hell yea money in my pocket until you realize every thing around you goes up...do you really think these giant corporate companies are not gonna lose money?? No, so they slowly increase their prices until it all is evened out at the average person out here is to dumb to realize ... I have improved my self and my wages with schooling , know how and just plain common sense till I am no longer in the minimum wage category and there is no way I will get the 3 dollar a hour raise you are talking about.. I might as well have saved my money and been a piss on ..if you are in this category and don't like the money you are making then do something different with your life
