A Federal crime would have to have been committed in order to bring in the FBI. I don't think any drug cases would qualify. A Federal crime might be something like organized crime, kidnapping, transporting minors across state lines for sex, or a conspiracy involving assisting people to engage Federal tax evasion, or Social Security fraud.
would receiving drugs in the mail bring in the fbi on a person/business?

I can't belive people in this town still have not been able to findout what's truely going on with this case. Demand answers. Today will be the end of 72 HR holding period. I bet no arrests were made.

OK, it does not work that way with the feds. They will compile everything they seized during the raid, take statements, compare with the informant(I can Guarantee there is an informant), some prosecutor(probably from the capital, little rock), will hand down indictments, and the whole thing will go before some federal court. People will get federal charges and go away. It will take some time, but the Federal government does not make a move like this without a rock solid case. Some prominent towns folk will be charged, when is a good question, but it will happen.

So why not, are you saying that the FBI has been looking into Chad and others that are involed for sometime now? An informant would have to be in tight in their lil click?

YEP. probably someone who supplied them dope, got popped when making an out of town run, rolled on the corrupt system for amnesty. This person, even though they are a drug dealer, has put themselves in grave danger. The FBI would have worked this for months or perhaps years. They NEVER rush into this sort of thing. They pprefer to gather intel and evidence, compile a case, then, when they have a case, they pull the trigger. The ones they are after WILL be guilty of federal crimes and WILL go to the federal pen unless they have a bigger fish to roll on. I have a feeling this ends at the Judge, but then again, I'm just making an educated guess.

BTW, Im sure the dealer rolled his supplier as well, but the feds wouldn't care about that. ASP could hsve handled a police case, but a JUDGE, here comes the feds!!!!!!!!
