It's ok if private businesses give discounts to their workers but this is taxpayer dollars they are taking away and giving to city employees. That's my money and yours. It's not right to give away our tax money.

If employees of the city are going to have free access to the aquatic park, then it is reasonable to expect city employers to have the same priviledge. Do you agree?

Sales taxes are going to pay for the upkeep anyway. There's no need to charge anyone. I don't see why they couldn't charge enough to keep it going after it is built.

Another welfare smelling leach, thinks everything is free. There is nothing free, it all cost someone somewhere, most likely people that work at "jobs". You might have to look that word up, hope it doesn't shock you when you find out what it means.

City employees DON'T get free access to the pool, free community center rental, or anything else. It is a fact. Call city hall and ask. FOIA the receipts where they have paid for usage. This is the problem with topix. One dumbass posts something they have no clue about and then everyone assumes it is true. Don't get your news off of topix!

I an a independent voter , neither a democrat or a Republican ,Nor am I related to some good old boy . Those are the only people that get jobs in the city.
I own 2 businesses, you know who I am remember I fired you for stealing and how you are working at a fast food joint are you stealing from them or just high all the time on Meth? As a Brain dead moron ,you fail to realize that it's Our tax dollars they are stealing to build this water park. We should have a say in free water park services which was an incentive( illegal by the way ) to get city employees to vote for the park.

Please don't do that yet the city Tax won't go into effect until sometime after January 2014. In the meantime many businesses in Pocahontas will be needing your support, some of us will be cutting our margins by 1 or 2 % to remain competitive with other areas.

If you had read my post you would realize that in stead of trusting me I gave you multiple options on how to find out the truth for yourself. Of course you preferred to be a smart ass over finding the truth. Typical.
