What you do not get is that you meet drinking people on the road all of the time! They are traveling back from another county or state line. They are having a drink on the way home because it is such a long drive. If you could pick up your liquor near your home, it is not such a temptation to open it before you get back home. WWJD? He drank wine!! Read it. Wine, not grape juice.

It's a bad idea. I will not sign the petition, I will not vote for it. The extra tax dollars will be needed for additional law enforcement, etc. It's all cause and effect.
I hope you do not have children, its stupid people like you that have held back this area. This county is full of drunks that drive like crazy to get to the "line", then they race back drunk as a monkey never thinking of the danger they put everyone else in. It is damn funny if this is a dry county and no one drinks how come the two famlies that own booze joint on the line have became super rich off Arkansas money? Uptight fake freaks make me sick, what are you scared of, the fact someone might enjoy a drink? Go back to molesting your kids who will turn out to hate you and become crackheads and live off welfare while you enjoy your nice clean drug and booze free county.

There is nothing wrong with having a drink, Its just like anything else you have to use your head. Randolph County is losing a lot of Revenue. These Bible thumpers in this town need to worry about the meth labs and keep eye on her children. I know a few people in this town that would not miss any church services and their children are high on meth or whatever they can get their hands on right out of mommy and daddys medicine cabinet. Thank you whoever corrected that ladies spelling.

Stay involved in the process if Randolph county goes "wet". KNOW who gets the package stores...etc...like everything in this county...the rich get richer....I just foundout Pocahontas has SEVEN (???) Airport comissioners. All other airports around have one or two...your city tax money at work lining pockets. If this county goes "wet" you'll have another comissioner...then the number of comissioners will grow and grow....GOOD OLE BOYS CLUB....like usualy around here...and they are ALL bible thumpers...they hide their thievery behind their churches & bibles!!! HYPOCRITES !!!!

I just did a quick search of airport commissions in Arkansas and they al have 7 members. Look stuff up before you open your ignorant mouth. If you can't get your facts straight why would anyone listen to your opinions?

I don't want any family to get hurt by some drunk driver. But lets face it there is the moose legion and country club where people go get drunk all the time. people go to liquor stores all the time and bring beer back in this county. there are drunken parties every weekend and probably every day. If people want to drink they are going to drink and they already are. Except now we don't have the extra tax revenue from the sale of that liquor to put more police on the streets to stop drunk drivers and the extra money for fire and emergency response when accidents do happen. Just my opinion. Just because you aren't for drinking doesn't mean you should be against us going wet.

I agree 100% with you...!!!!I will not drive on HWY 115 on any Friday or Saturday nights and Hoildays.

I have to drive on HWY 115 going north to get home. I dread being out at night , I try to stay home on weekends at night .
I still think we need the tax revenue from the sale of liquor .
People are going to drink regardless, get them off HWY 115 , enough people have been killed or hurt by drunk drivers ,keep them in Pocahontas closer to their homes .
Either way , drunk driving is dangerous to everyone.
just me and my thoughts

I thank they should let it be wet for the state line is getting all of our taxes and we get the drunks if people want to drink then they will just go up there and sit out side and you will see what church members go in for they thank Pocahontas doesn't know about them for I know been there and done that so lets vote yes and get this town back where it should be for I will vote yes and I don't drink we need jobs for the working people with families may god bless Pocahontas

(No....does not even deserve a response...).
So where can you sign the petitions ?
Not once do I see anyone answer that question, which has been asked previously.(Let's see if it goes wet...how many commisioners there end up being for it...and how much if your tax dollars get used for those positions)
