We know Crackers record, 3 times.. trial lawyers coming for the other peoples money Cracker manages. Nice job Cracker, how can some jobless residents get a job like yours with a big fat cushy defense fund payed for by taxpayers along side the good health insurance for the worry of all that red tape dealing with them damn lawyers. Hell fire, I almost feel sorry for Jonesboro. WHERES OUR MAYOR?

i was told a employee got hurt on the job, badly hurt and the hospital has fought it tooth and nail. The fight him get workmans comp even tho the hospitals docs say it was an on the job injuery, his docs say the same thing and so did a nero sugeron. then they fired him for fighting for workmanscomp on some bull shit reason and he was going after the hospital for that.
i know there is a lot of people who talk smak in this town thats why i am wondering if its true or not. dont know if i could go to a hospital that treats its people like that....any idea who it is that is sueing???

I know there was a good reason to sue the hospital, but did not , when they turn someone out the door that has a punctured lung, broken arm, broken ribs and other injuries, because the person didn't have insurance and the doctor said if he was my brother i would take him home and put him to bed. .the daughter took him to Little Rock to UAMS where theydid facial surgery and set his arm and doctored him for a week

I thought it was against the law to turn someone away just because of insurance.....Am I wrong??? Everyone should know the answer to this. Hell, all the money we put out on all these people on welfare, spitting out baby after baby to get a bigger check and we can't even take care of a sick person???? don't make sense to me.

if the doctor says its an emergency they have to treat you, if they say it isn't then they don't have to do anything without insurance or money up front. also ambulance patients seem to get in quicker than others waiting in the waiting room

Someone ought to be sueing them! If we got such a great hospital here why do we air flight ever cracked rib or sprainged ankle? There have cases where people were air flighted and they reported to work less than 48 hours later.

Yes , there is someone going after the hospital after being let go from his position there. I have asked around and this is what i know so far. He had been working at the hospital for over a year when in the line of duties he hurt his spine and it caused nerve damage. I do know his name but don't want to say it on here ( he has enough going on with out being riped a new one on here). I have seen him around town and he is still limping from his injury.

I asked him if he was going to have surgery to help him walk better he told me " I don't know if i will be able to now i am still fighting for workman's comp and can not afford the test need to see if i still can, after the hospital fired me i lost my income and insurance, no one will give me a job with the restrictions the doctors gave me...this may be something i have to deal with for the rest of my life".

I have asked around about this young man and have got mixed response most all were positive and the negitive were not about his work but lifestyle, but all i know is when my mother died in the hospital he was there holding her hand till she left this world and was there to help my family after she was gone. I feel sorry for Fiver Rivers Medical Center for there lost of such a great employee, and i can tell you that no one from my family or myself will ever go to this hospital agen, Who wants to get taken care of at a place that treats its hard working employees like that. He is suing for employment discrimination on two counts and I for one hope he wins and pray that this hospital does right by him.

I also want to say that if this young man should read this thank you for what you did for my mother and family, you truly have a gift to be able to deal with the grieving and dieing the way you do. I truly hope the hospital takes fault for how they treated you and then fired you and makes right the wrong.

they may not treat there staff very well but they treat their patients even worse. i have had several bad experiences there myself not to mention what ive heard other people say about what happened to them. i dont understand how they can be so rude, uncaring & unprofessional to people. im sure people have died due to their incompetence. wish someone would sue them for bad treatment. i bet alot of horror stories would be told once people started telling about their own experiences at our "wonderful" hospital.

My father in law would have died if it were not for % Rivers Medical Center. He had a heart attack and was taken there by ambulance, the nurses and tne ER doctor were excellent and used a new medication they have to stop heart attacks as they are occurring. His cardiolgist in Jonesboro said if he had not made it to Pocahontas hospital when he did, he would definitely have died.

It would be nice if all or most head of departments had at least Bachelor's degrees versus Associate degrees!
