Just proves that these guys and Gals know how to get the money and they know how to waste it.
We don't need any more taxes!
It is very clear that no one can administer it correctly!.

if we're going to have a tax anyway, i would rather the income be dedicated by the votors and controlled by the city, rather than in the hands of an unelected commission.

Al goverment spending is a tax. The only way to reduce taxes is to curtial or reduce goverment spending.

i hope all the senior citzens and their families and friends remember that two unelected men ( pat carroll and butch smith) voted NOT to fund their electric bill at the center. it will be paid for the rest of the year, but then will once more be put to a vote.

All goverment spending is a tax. Any goverment expenditure must be paid by the citizens of today or some future citizens. The goverment only consumes & spends it doesent generate any revenue on its own. I will always vote against any Tax. The most permanet thing is a temporary Tax.

I AGREE IT IS A WASTE.
THE ONLY WAY I WOULD SUPPORT THIS TAX IS IF 100% OF
REVENUE WOULD BE USED TO HIRE ED DUST TO HELP BRING
JOBS TO POCAHONTAS. PAY HIM WELL, AND USE REST FOR HIS EXPENSES TO GET THE JOB DONE.
