I am not making excuses for him. My experinence in nursing and in life is that the people bitching and throwing a fit are the ones who are narrow minded and did not get what hey wanted. They are so focused on what they think they need they are totally shut down to any other options. Just because a Dr. does not give you what you want does not mean he is not an excellent Dr. No matter who the Dr. is. Ignorant people chose to complain about the most stupid things. I am a nurse and have worked in several fields of nursing and in each field the ignorant person is the same. The ignorance in this County is amazing. I love living here, but that does not change the level of ignorance surrounding us here. And for some reason the medical field id swamped with stupid people. IV drug users... comeing in afraid of needles. People showing up in the ER allergic to stadol. Same shit differnt day, when you come across a Dr. smart enough to read through the bullshit you get angry and blame it on them. Had you been smart enough to go to medical scholl you would understand instead you whaller in you ignorance and blame others for your ignaorance. If you do not want to use Dr. Dawson... Great. It will free up some of his time and make it easier for mew to get an appointment. Because I have a nursing degree and understand a good Doctor and a stupid doctor and i will continue to use him.
I smell something funny. Could it be the smell of a bulls droppings? Yes ma'am I do believe that is what I am smelling.

When Obama gets through you wont have to worry about making the decision on which dr to see the government will make it for you.

ya my husband had a vasectomy about 8 years ago and went in to see dr D. in the pockey clinic for a low sex drive and this Dr D didn't want to test his testosterone levels, so he says "I don't think its low testosterone I think its depression" and puts him on depression meds which by the way makes hormone levels go way down. What a good doctor!!! Right? So do doctor troxell in WR really try to find out what is wrong?
maybe he didn't have a low sex drive. maybe his penis was just scared. That happened to me once...

My family uses the docs at Clopton Clinic. But in Pocahontas, Dr Alex Baltz is good and in Walnut Ridge, Dr Troxel or Dr Diamond
I agree that Dr. Baltz is great but Troxel and Diamond are nothing but quacks...

Wow. It is so sad that anyone would have to see a NP who had scheduled an appt. with an MD. And, I think this Dr. D. should have a complaint filed against him. When I was taking care of my mother, in the last few years of her life, there was so little help available to suggest directions...or anything. Insurance did not help.

It is a long, complicated story so I'll just say that having an uncaring Doctor at the helm is torturous for the vulnerable elderly patient and the family and the caretaker. I really think he needs a wake up call. Rudeness in a situation with the elderly can lead to disastrous consequences.

Has anyone been to Dr. Voloso in Walnut Ridge. I think that is the spelling. I've not heard anything about this Dr. But am looking for a Dr. of Internal Medicine...I see he is. I understand....gossip and just negativity is not to be taken as the gospel...just wondering if I do chose to go this man...what "might" I expect. I have quite a few physical deals and am hoping to find one or two underlying culprits. I need a really good Dr. that listens. Thank you so much for even a little input!

As the daughter of a former patient of his and speaking as a home health nurse I can say he would be my pick over any of the other doctors in Walnut Ridge

LOL! We're talking about the same one huh? It's a shame someone so handsome has to be so rude! My son has sleep apnea and has tried using the CPAP but in his sleep he removes the mask at night. One of the other docs in the same building suggested he duck tape oven mitts on his hands at night so he couldn't remove the cpap mask. Wonderful medical advice...yeah right!
I have a friend that was a nurse at the clinic and she said nobody wanted to work for Dawson, because he made them feel incompetent and would jump all over a nurse for any little thing and never showed appreciation for them when they did a good job. I too took my 3 year old daughter to him because she sounded like she was struggling to breathe when she slept at night. When I told him how she sounded, he looked at her tonsils and told me, "oh, she just has large tonsils" and thats why she sounded the way she did when she slept, but nothing to worry about. Thank God I followed my instincts. A month later I was still concerned so I called the clinic and requested to see a ear nose and throat specialist, because her symptoms matched that of childhood sleep apnea. To make a long story short, the specialist confirmed that her tonsils needed to come out and that it was causing her to have sleep apnea. Why Dawson didn't refer me to a specialist just blows my mind. I'm glad I followed my instincts and did my own research, cause Dawson definitely failed me and my child as a doctor.

Amen on changing doctors..Dawson has a bad attitude and he needs to do some adjusting concerning his patients or get out of the business

I like Dr. Guntharp who is in Pocahontas Family Medical Clinic. He's a very compassionate dr. and good with the elderly. I used him when he was in the other place along with my kids. We were so glad he came back. Dr. Diamond and Dr. Troxel are good to but sometimes its hard for me to get to WR.
