Really? Was that necessary? Are you serious? OBVIOUSLY your uneducated. Why dont you try to be an AMERICAN & support diversity? i still love all humans, even you, & im very disapointed in your way of expressing your feelings. i am wiccan, & i can honestly say we support your religion....why dont you try & support ours?

Overall, Wiccans do not have any problems with the Christian faith except for the fact that some Christians believe that their religion is the only way, condemning all others who believe differently an eternity in Hell.
Well it's good to know wiccans don't believe in hurting others for mere pleasure. In fact, I can't think of ANY religious body that hurts people for mere pleasure. Can you? No, I didn't think so. Even muslims have a reason for hurting people, as screwed up and sick as the reasoning is behind it. It IS clear, however, from your response, that wiccans DO believe in hurting people! Just not for mere pleasure. Gee, what a relief. True Christians don't do violence to anybody. They are the most peaceful people there is. True Christians, mind you.

Regarding the second paragraph, Christians are free to believe what they want just as you think you should be. How dare YOU condemn anybody as having their foul deeds return up themselves threefold! Do you see you hypocrisy here? Secondly, what you are confusing for Christian is usually roman catholicism, which has it's babylonian rituals passed on from pagan Rome, which is the root if many wiccan beliefs and rituals today. Vatican City is the beast of the book of Revelation. Antichrist is the papacy and the church proper is the Whore of Babylon. More true Christians died at the hands of Catholics than you'd believe.

The Wiccan Rede

Bide ye Wiccan laws ye must,

in perfect love and perfect trust.

Live and let live, fairly take and fairly give.

Form the circle thrice about, to keep all evil spirits out.

To bind ye spell every time, let ye spell be spake in rhyme.

Soft of eye, light of touch, speak ye little, listen much.

Deosil go by the waxing moon, singing out ye Witches’ Rune.

Widdershins go by the waning moon, chanting out ye Baneful Rune.

When the Lady’s moon is new, kiss your hand to her times two.

When the moon rides at her peak, then ye heart’s desire seek.

Heed the North wind’s mighty gale, lock the door and trim the sail.

When the wind comes from the South, love will kiss thee on the mouth.

When the wind blows from the West, departed souls may have no rest.

When the wind blows from the East, expect the new and set the feast.

Nine woods in ye cauldron go, burn them fast and burn them slow.

Elder be ye Lady’s tree, burn it not or cursed ye’ll be.

When the wheel begins to turn, soon ye Beltaine fire’ll burn.

When the wheel hath turned to Yule, light the log the Horned One rules.

Heed ye flower, bush and tree, by the Lady blessed be.

Where the rippling waters flow, cast a stone and truth ye’ll know.

When ye have and hold a need, harken not to other's greed.

With a fool no season spend, nor be counted as his friend.

Merry meet and merry part, bright the cheeks and warm the heart.

Mind ye threefold law ye should, three times bad and three times good.

When misfortune is anow, wear the blue star upon thy brow.

True in love ye must ever be, lest thy love be false to thee.

In these eight words the Wiccan Rede fulfill,

‘An ye harm none, do what ye will.

I find it funny how some one on here said something about Christians being persecuted, it was the Catholics that tried to take out the pagen religions that existed long before Catholicism. When pagens refused to convert they would be killed. Now, have you read through the books that MAN not GOD chose to omit from the bible? Because she would not be subservient to Adam, his first wife, Eve, was cast away. Jesus, as a child, turned a classmate into a tree and then turned the child back, later, Jesus KILLED his own teacher. There is a strong theory that during the time jesus was gone, that he was in India studying Buddhism. If you look at the drastic change in tone between the old and new testament, and compare some of the text, it does feel that way to me. I do believe there is a higher power, I believe we all in our own way pray to the same deity, and I believe that as long as we hold whatever religion we chose high in our heart and live it each day, that we will all go to our religion's heaven or afterlife.

Many Christians look for forms of evil to confirm their own beliefs. Wicca is gaining popularity and Christianity is in decline. They blame Wicca for what they see as a decline in morals of the youth of the nation. Because they define any stray from christianity as a betrayal of God and all that is good.

They don't understand, nor do they care to understand, the concepts or purpose of our beliefs. They just look at it as a threat to the world they have created.

A world where sex is evil.
A world where magik is an abomination.
A world where they can make laws that follow the rules of their religion and not the will of the people.

They are blind to everything else and so filled with ignorant hate that they lash out at us and try so hard to suppress it.

While the ancient religions were a herioc ideal, wicca is christianized, and relies on superstitious mysticism.
