Help Paying Deposits on Utilities

I have tried Salvation Army and the Minister Alliance, BRAD, DHS and anyone that way I could think of but to no avail (They are all out of funds). So, my question is does anyone know anywhere or anyone in Pocahontas I can talk to about paying my deposits on my utility bills. I am leaving my spouse and I have found a house and after paying the 300.00 deposit on the house and rent for this month of 325.00 I need to find a way to get the 65.00 for the water and the half of gas (37.50) for my heat. I have electric covered because they divide it up between the first 2 months bills, but on water you have to have the 65.00 up front and half of the 75.00 for gas (37.50). It is just a lot to come up with on top of the rent deposit, rent etc. So, if anyone here knows of anyone who can help me or lead me to someone who may be able to I would be very grateful. I don't need a lecture or name calling or bad mouthing, I am just someone who wants to get out of a bad marriage and start living my life on my own and need a little help to get started. Thank You for your time.
Sincerely -
L

If you get off internet, stop smoking, stop drinking and watch expenditures, and spend our food stamps wisely you would not need assistance. Also collect child support.

Off internet, who said anyone was smoking, drinking etc? I didn't see anything that said anyone was doing any of those things or that they even get food stamps? I've heard of reading between the lines but you read a lot of things there that I didn't see even said. I reread the message and saw nothing about any of that or that the person even has kids at all. Maybe you need to spend some of your own money on glasses lol

Lucille--I sent you an e-mail. Someone helped me when I really needed it and I'm can now 'pay it forward'. I'll watch for a response to my e-mail.

I got the email "been there done that" and sent you a reply. And, as you will see, I plan to do this same thing when I find someone who needs help in some way. It is a wonderful thing to help someone in need, not only for the person you're helping but also knowing they may pass it on to someone else is great. You are an angel and that is one of the problems with this world today, not many want to help their fellowman - it restores my faith in good people and I plan to do the same for someone else - you paid it forward to me - I shall do the same for someone else in someway when they need help.

Aside from the one jerk that posted on this thread, I think this is very nice. Lucille, I sincerely hope that things work out for you and you get on your feet. *hugs*

I also live in Pocahantas Arkansas, and have a high utility bill. I am disabled, and my check isn't enough to pay my electric bill, water, phone. If anyone can help me I would greatly appreciate it. Brad was out of funds, and so was the Salvation Army.

You guys should talk to the heiffer that took all that $ from BRAD when they're out of funds. Sure she'd be happy to help out :)

I can't pay my bills either. Everyone wants a handout and I want to. My husband and I both work full time and can't make ends meet, but hey there is no help for people like us!
